Ingraham: It’s Not Chaos, It’s Smart Staffing [VIDEO]

The Hill reports:

Fox News host Laura Ingraham said late Tuesday that multiple resignations and firings of top Trump administration officials isn’t a sign of chaos in the White House, but “smart staffing.”

“Since last summer, the president has been slowly getting his team together,” Ingraham said during her opening monologue. “Think about it: He hired general John Kelly as his chief of staff. He moved Sarah Sanders in as press secretary. He moved Tom Price out and Alex Azar in as secretary of HHS [Health and Human Services] and I’m sure there is going to be a lot more changes to come.”

“That’s not chaos. That’s called smart staffing,” she continued. “He has been in the White House just over, what, 13 months or so? And now Trump knows what he needs in his closest staff and the Cabinet, too.”

Hannity is a racist motherfucker. I’m sure I’m the first to say nor will I be the last.

I’m sure there was something “coloring” his viewpoint.

Obama is super bright and Trump is as big an idiot as Hannity?

    • “That…uh…that was taken out of context!”

At this point I think they’re digging under the barrel.

Obama was Black. That makes a huge difference!!

Eventually trump will be out of the White House one way or the other, however his brain dead voting supporters remain.

Sure they will, but they’ll just crawl back under the rocks and scummy ponds from whence they came. They, like the poor, have always been with us.

    • Steverino

      Russia Republicans and con-man conservatives.

    • Todd20036

Keep in mind, Trump replaced his staff in one year even more so than Obama did in 8

      • lymis

I haven’t seen the numbers, but I’d take a guess that, outside of party turnover, Trump has replaced more people in a year than Obama, Bush, and Clinton did in their entire tenures.

    • Galvestonian

The only people that really believe that Trump is doing a ‘great’ job are the Russians.

      • Don Blair

And the little dicked hillbillies in the jacked up F150s with the broken headlight.

        • Galvestonian

… right, their pick-ups have camo paint and the gun rack in the back window with spot lights on the top of the cab… and they have a can of snuff ( one of those round ones ) in the back pocket of their worn jeans covering a hot ass with dimples. The duck billed hat they’re wearing is also camo but has some kind of farm equipment logo, ranch name or agricultural symbol on it. They always seem to be wearing a beat up tee that was once white or a well worn plaid shirt with the sleeves torn off ( sometimes both ) and — oh yeah — really beat up shit-kickers.

    • zhera

What frightens me most is how willingly the GOP has become the nazi party. Ryan, McConnell, Graham, all those fuckers. For money.

    • narutomania

A long-time friend of my mother’s says that Drumpf is a breath of fresh air, a welcome change.

The only way I could respond was to ask just how stoopid this woman is. “Fresh air”? In what sort of deluded mental prison has this woman been living that she thinks that Drumpf is “fresh air”?

And why on any sane world would any person “welcome” the sort of changes that he has brought?

The only answer is that this woman is a racist xenophobic entitled twat who wants to return the country to the dark 1950s. On the surface they were heydays for white people, but really they were all about rampant racism, rampant misogyny, and American imperialism.

      • Jamie_Johnson

A long-time friend of my mother’s tried to say that her vote for Trump did not make her a racist. My mother’s response was “but it was, and if you vote for a racist, you are a racist.” The friend was shocked, but could not deny that Trump is, in fact, a racist, and her vote helped put him in the White House. Uncomfortable conversation, but necessary on so many levels.

There’s a federal penitentiary waiting for your White House idols, girl. They’re installing a new wing just for the orange one and his fellow mobsters.

    • SkokieGuy – Helen Flexible

I wonder if the lies are so blatant, they know if will piss of the left (and any thinking humans). So the fact that they are lies isn’t of consequence, because it achieves the desired goal.

    • Todd20036

It’s pretty safe to say that Foxtards like living in a bubble where white, straight, Christian men are “better” than anyone else, and the fact that Trump is white, straight and male is more important than the fact that he’s bigoted, incompetent, and mentally unstable.
They refuse to admit that Obama was one of our greatest presidents while not being white, and that his family consists of good people who are excellent role models. While Trump’s family consists of traitors, exotic animal killers, illegal immigrants, and incestuous liasons.

The WH has a higher turnover rate than McDonalds. No shit.

    • No Mcshit.

    • gaymex1

I once was in the restaurant business. I NEVER had this sort of turnover. A business can’t function without good and reasonably stable staffing.

      • KnightofLightfire .

Weird, I worked at a Coney that went through employees like coffee paper, I honestly think I was one of the longer lasting employees and I was only there for 16 months, I recently walked by the area and the place is still open and under the same management

        • gaymex1

There’s no secret in retaining employees. Treat them with respect, pay them decently and be aware that there’s more to their lives than just your business.

          • ColdCountry

So simple, and yet so frequently ignored by so many businesses.

      • clay

training can eat up too much time
transition costs can eat up profits
shuffling staff means not much gets done

        • gaymex1

Most of my employees were youngsters and I would keep reminding them that there was much more in life than my business. I guess I was like a parent in that I always wanted them to keep striving for a bigger goal. It’s been 15 years since I left that business. I still get emails and photos from many of them…now with families and new lives. Professors, doctors, lawyers, musicians, business owners, public school teachers, artists, housewives, househusbands. I really did like them and miss them all. Mistakes they made were the mistakes of the young…so easily forgiven and so easily worked around. We were a team and they were the captains.

          • Randy503

You sound like a good manager/employer. If only more were like you! And I mean that seriously — so many people are beaten down and made to feel like crap. The one common thread among the school shooters is that they all felt like they had no life, they felt beaten down by everyone, and they had no where else to go in life. They had few or no people on their side telling them to believe in themselves, or work hard to be better.

I think this is one of the big problems in our country. So much many lives go nowhere or are destroyed for lack of a single word of encouragement.

          • gaymex1

I know I sound like an old hippy–and I am.
Trust, Listen, Encourage, Respect and even throw in a bit of love. Be constantly aware that your own life is finite.
The cost is small and the reward is great–for you and for those around you.
You are so right about a single word of encouragement. It works wonders and can change a life. I will never forget the kindness of people in my own life…so I try to share it.

Just don’t get me on the topic of Trump and the GOP.
It’s hard for me to keep my disgust contained.

          • RoFaWh

Your description of school shooters’ mental state is the same as that of many people with clinical depression.

  • Uncle Mark

In my “yoot,” I had once worked for a small company that had done a few illegal things. (For example: Installing Microsoft OS on scores of PCs without licenses.) Employment was practically a revolving door. Eventually, they fired a few too many folks, who knew where some of the bodies were buried and decided to retaliate…alerting authorities of their legal indiscretions, and questionable employment practices. Needless to say, the company paid a heavy price.

One would think that Trump would be absolutely fearful of his firing frenzy…given that he’s under Mueller’s microscope already, but I suspect that his old habits die hard….just like he will in prison.

  • The_Wretched

Last spring, after an ill-fated trip to the Pizza Hut, a deer ran into the passenger side door of our car. The interior of the car looked like an explosion in a safety glass factory.

We planned it. Wanted a new windshield, side window and side mirror at our insurance company’s expense. It did take awhile to find a suicidal deer who would agree to it but WTH, someone might have come across the dead deer shortly afterward and ended up with a freezer full of venison.

By way of comparison, let us contemplate Crown Princess Mary of Denmark wearing her antique ruby and diamond tiara, a gift from her in-laws, Queen Margrethe II and Prince Consort Henrik.

      https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/royalty/images/b/ba/Crown_Princess_Mary_-_Queen_Ingrid's_Ruby_Parure_Tiara.JPG

She has proved herself a worthy Queen-to-be. In one of the infinity of Youtube videos about her, she describes how she was overwhelmed by the ceremony of her marriage in 2004, having been brought up as a simple country girl in Tasmania. Then she remarks about her dress, “I’ve never worn a dress like this before. I’ve never had a dress like this before.” Knowing that Queen Margrethe designs her own clothing, I wonder if the Queen designed the Princess’s dress as well.

Watch the video of her and Prince Frederik in their bridal waltz, surrounded by Danish society and European royalty (a venue utterly unfamiliar to Donald Trump); at first, her smiles seem stiff and at best formal, but as she waltzes with her husband, the surrounding spectators slowly clapping in time with the music as is the Danish custom, you can see her facial expression soften into one of great happiness.

  • TK

Smart staffing?? Yeah, right!! That would imply some smarts on Trumps part. Which we all know is non-existent. He hasn’t made one smart choice during or after his campaign. He fires all these people because they turn out to be smarter (or more stupid) than the almighty Trump and make him look like the moron he really is. Or they get really smart and quit. • CB

If I had this level of turnover with my staff, my business wouldn’t function.
…And the drumpfian chaos is all the confirmation of that I need.

  • lymis

Most presidents do their “smart staffing” in advance of taking office, and occasionally have to make minor changes over time – usually either to replace someone who resigns or is promoted, and usually with someone as qualified or better.

    It’s not wholesale restaffing.

What makes it chaos is, yes, the unprecedented volume of the replacements, and the fact that so many of them aren’t just unqualified, but things like lack of absolutely required security clearances and the revelation of basic issues like spousal abuse, gambling, and professional malfeasance and corruption, And the fact that the replacements, are, on average, even LESS qualified than the people they are replacing.

In an alternate universe with a different “elect me because I’m a businessman rather than a long-term government person” in office, it’s vaguely possible that people would be replaced because he started with placeholders and gradually recruited more experienced and qualified people to assume the roles as he developed new coalitions and gained more support among career government experts. That would still show woeful lack of preparation, but might be understandable.

Trump just throws tantrums and fires people for not being sycophantic enough.

    So yeah, chaos.

  • RoFaWh

The word “smart” never applies to Trump nor to his flunkies. This is true both in the meaning of “good intellectual development” and “dresses spiffily.”

“Stupid” and “ignorant” remain the relevant descriptors. “Disorganized” and “chaotic” are, however, gaining ground.

  • Jamie_Johnson

Trump has a compliant Republican majority in both houses of Congress, and it’s taken him 13 months to get “his team” in place? Either he’s incompetent, lying, or both.

  • Gianni

Laura, Donnie’s term will be up if he continues taking so much time to select “the best people” as he is wont to say. So far, his ‘best’ choices are dropping like flies. You are also quite lousy at spinning his dumbness. A single poor choice is one thing, but he has been consistently choosing the real losers. That suits him, though, because he can then be relatively sure that none of his lackeys will outshine him in the brains, performance, or personal integrity departments.

  • Jack
