Junior Rants In Speech That Universities Are Teaching Students How To Become “Actual Fascists” [VIDEO]

The Hill reports:

Donald Trump Jr. ripped America’s universities and colleges during a speech Thursday in Alabama, blaming college professors for teaching students “how to become an actual fascist.”

Speaking at a benefit dinner for Faulkner University, President Trump’s eldest son said that statements such as “we need borders” or “our founders were great people” had become hate speech on some college campuses.

“We’ll teach you how to pretend to be an anti-fascist and how to become an actual fascist,” Trump Jr. said Thursday. Trump Jr. also attacked “spineless” college administrators and faculty for what he described as a refusal to stand up to demands from student groups.

So Jr has attended a Milo University campus speech then

    • Skokieguy [Larry]

“Secretive hedge fund billionaire Robert Mercer and his family launched themselves into the top rank of American power through a series of spectacularly successful cash investments in politics: in Breitbart News, the far-right media outlet; in Cambridge Analytica, the controversial political data firm; and, of course, in Donald Trump, the president of the United States.

To those ventures — and a host of others — newly uncovered evidence strongly suggests an addition: Milo Yiannopoulos, the anti–political correctness crusader and conservative provocateur.”

        I miss Molly

  • Sam_Handwich

he’s a fuckin moron like his father

    • james1200

Why is his indictment taking so damn long? I’d really like for it to happen before Xmas.

      • caphillprof

Prosecutors are eyeing the statute of limitations, seeing if daddy leaves the presidency so they can avoid the inevitable pardon.

      • JackFknTwist

Judge Judy, you go girl !

      • M Jackson

        It could happen FOR christmas.

      • thatotherjean

There are lots and lots of loose ends to tie up, very very tightly, so that Trump & Co. can’t wiggle out of them. It takes time.

    • JackFknTwist

Moron Junior is at a University giving a lecture, eh, well a ‘talk’.

And lo, it turns out to be more about the numbers his Daddy got at a rally than about early Shakespeare.
      What a surprise.

Who invited this pompous fat head to step onto a campus devoted to education ? – clearly he’s as stupid as his father.

      • Circ09

He must have a management agency brokering campus speaking gigs because he is making the rounds to several different universities.

        • David Walker

Are all of them xn? Faulkner is Church of Christ, NOT to be confused with the United Church of Christ. Consider CoC to be a canker sore on the butt of sanity.

          • Circ09

Nope. UNT is a public TX University. My mother’s told me it has caused quite a stir locally.

  • Todd20036

Trump Jr is not going to convince too many people who aren’t already convinced.

  • boobert

Who was stupid enough to pay moron jr for this crap? And who was stupid enough to listen?

    • Nowhereman

      It’s a christian “university” in Alabama, soooo…

  • Nicolette

He has ideological dyslexia along with his hereditary defects…. he should not be speaking in public

  • kirby7771

He’d like to be an evil genius, but he’s just evil. And kind of stupid.

    • caphillprof

      Pure evil.

    • thatotherjean

      Kind of?

  • bkmn

Spoken like a Trump U graduate

  • Todd20036

Not O/T: Trump is rolling back Obamacare for female contraception.

If you want to use the pill, you are on your own.

Hey female Trumpanzees, hope you’re happy.

Hey female Bernie bros, you too

  • Oscarlating Wildely

Oh, time to attack the universities again. How typical GOP.

So, I fess up: yea, I teach. Yes, I gladly teach students to disavow policies like your father’s. I teach students that they have the right to protest. I teach students that they can and should be activists against Nazis as there is no “good side” of that cancer. I empower my students to stand against bigotry, the prejudice of your father being a prime example. I teach students that they are part of a trajectory of activism and advocacy so that when a people need assistance they do more than throw a roll of Bounty at them. Universities see students as part of the last great hope to take down regimes such as your nepotistic hate cabal. I am proud to a part of that effort and will gladly train my students the importance, the need to do so. And oh, a word of thanks: your family Donnie boy has given professors oodles of material on how fragile democracy can be; you’re making my lesson plans that much easier to craft.

And if you want my name or my institution go for it. Academic Freedom is a bitch–and that pussy grabs back. Fuck wit.

    • kirby7771

Nepotistic hate cabal. Love that. Stealing it. Must be shared.

    • Thank you! I think about my responsibility to my students in much the same way, and your clear and passionate explanation helps me see more clearly what I can do.

    • Gerry Fisher

“OK, we went after the black players in the NFL. Who’s the next scapegoat in line? Ahhh, yes, universities and their PC ways! That’s an old chestnut!”

      • TCinBerkeley

Don’t forget those other scapegoats – Hollywood, video games and the entertainment industry.

    • JackFknTwist

And your clear determined true education is what stands against tyranny…….not guns or militias, just your devotion to education and critical thinking.

    • Steverino

      Hear, hear!

    • David Walker

From his Wikipedia bio: “Trump was educated at Buckley School and The Hill School, a university-preparatory boarding school in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, followed by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he earned a B.S. degree in Economics.”
He really should know better. But, then, “While at Wharton, [45] worked at the family business, Elizabeth Trump and Son,[20] graduating in May 1968 with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics.”
So both of them have BS degree. Same here. I try to avoid the definition of BS as BullShit. My father graduated from Wharton. 45 and Jr have challenged my belief that one needed to have worked hard and learned stuff to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania.

      • StraightGrandmother

I’m positive they BOTh cheated their way through school, paying other students to write papers for them.

      • Oscarlating Wildely

From all I’ve heard Hill disavows him and Wharton thought that the whole family was trash, in a nice ivy league sort of way, of course.

    • Nothing wrong with protest, but campuses are supposed to be places of inquiry and debate, even if vigorous. Certain discussions have become so taboo that debate is no longer possible, though.

You can’t even send an email about Halloween costumes (as Yale lecturer Erika Christakis did) without students demanding your resignation. That, to me, is a problem. The mob might be a useful and powerful tool on campus, but as an individual out in the actual world, people are going to be ill-prepared.

I don’t think universities should prepare students to be “safe”. They should prepare them to be strong and to be able to defend their ideas through reason and argument.

      • Oscarlating Wildely

Universities do engage the public. And do engage ideas. All the time. Hundreds of thousands of students. Daily. The term safe space has been hijacked. It means you can express ideas without ad hom attacks based upon race, gender, orientation, etc, including based on the mission statement of an institution. I can’t see why that is bad.Yes, it means that I should not be able to attack the student sitting next to me for their race. I am all for that.

In addition: Students have every right to ask for someone’s resignation; I have the right to ask for Trump’s resignation. The University has the right to tell those same students to go to hell. That is pretty much what occurred. Students get riled up. Students demand change. Students ask for resignations. I am all for it. To take away that right is to make students have to accept being docile. That to me is a bigger discouragement than some memo about one prof at one school of thousands.

Beyond that, the platforms for speech are pretty hard to come by outside of the classroom. The chance for Milo to speak is a chance that academics and scientists and artists and a host of others would give up part of their anatomy to get. The university is a place that welcomes expression of ideas; we’re just against the dumb ones. And dumb ideas have no place in a location of higher learning. Milo et al have stupid ideas. And yes, I’m all for sunlight scattering cockroaches but I’d take a slot with an actually educated person any day of the week over such dribble.

  • another_steve

I can half-see Junior on a leash being led around my house. Leather included.

Only “half-see” – mind you, boys.

    • Todd20036

While I admire your perverse eccentricities, I have to question your choice of men.

      • another_steve

Yeah, like you’re Mr. Selectivity or something.

You’d shag my dead uncle, if he presented.

    • DaddyRay

      Love the update

      • james1200

I’m often bored at work, lol.

  • Andymac3

Trump Jr spent most of his college life being a falling down drunk, as reported by his fellow students. Something about daddy not loving him.

  • Tawreos

I went back to college not to long ago and no one taught me how to be a fascist, no one even tried. Maybe I went to the wrong school or studied in the wrong major to get that kind of training. Maybe I should get a refund on my education.

  • PickyPecker

RE: Faulkner University – an exerpt from their ‘mission.’

The mission of Faulkner University is to glorify God through education of the whole person, emphasizing integrity of character in a caring Christian environment where every individual matters every day. Faulkner University is a Christian community of learners in the tradition of American higher education that seeks to educate the whole person by cultivating the moral, emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual dimensions of the individual.

    • Andymac3

Well, fuck me, glorify god and education in the same sentence, that is a stretch.

    • james1200

It just shows how marginalized the Trump crowd is that this is one of the only safe spaces where they can show up without a shit-storm falling on their heads.

    • Ken M

No sex on campus? Good luck with that. To think it was once believed that by keeping a school to a single gender, that “problem” would be solved.

    • Yalma Cuder-Zicci

The mission of Faulkner University is to glorify God through education of the whole person [grab ’em by the pussy], emphasizing integrity of character in a caring Christian environment [I did try and fuck her. She was married] where every individual matters every day [I moved on her like a bitch]. Faulkner University is a Christian community of learners in the tradition of American higher education that seeks to educate the whole person by cultivating the moral, emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual dimensions of the individual…and grab ’em by the pussy.

    • Nowhereman

What a mouthful of garbage that is!

  • safari

Make no mistake: the GOP wants to destroy higher education.

    • Ken M

  • Cucker “Dick” Tarlson

I thought we indoctrinated good Christian conservatives into godless communists. Now we’re turning them into fascists?

People, we need to make up our minds.

  • Lazycrockett

    Stopped reading at “In Alabama.”

  • Texndoc

Face it, the hours of videos from the likes of Evergreen College don’t help. I actually read that the damage to the university’s reputation was such that 80 students are being ? expelled? Don’t know for sure because as usual there’s little follow up. A glorified day care. Don’t know how anyone could stomach the videos of the college president cowering in front of students and once they realized they were in control they mocked harassed and ridiculed him further.

  • canoebum

Donnie, God will get you for holding that elephant’s tail in your hand. Count on it.

  • Circ09

Coming soon to my alma mater in Texas. UNT paid this no-nothing nobody weasel $150,000 to come make this speech to its students. Junior must be making the rounds while the money is good.

    • JackFknTwist

The lawyers should get most of it.

      • Nowhereman

That’s probably why he’s doing it. They’re building up a war chest for their trials.

      • Pat

Lol, hope so. Hope their lawyers get everything.

    • Nowhereman

      Wow. Just wow.

    • Natty Enquirer

Normally Uday wouldn’t go anywhere near Al-Abama, I guess he needed a sympathetic audience.

That old propaganda trick where you accuse the ” enemy ” of doing exactly what you do

Name anything on this list Trump isn’t doing :

You Might Be A Fascist If…

( also reads as a Donald Trump ” things to do ” list , he seems to be following this plan exactly , he started with number 17 )

    1. You believe in rule by the few, in which a few powerful wealthy people control how the country is governed and decide what the population as a whole can or cannot do, often making rules that infringe upon the personal liberties of others just because you believe a certain way.

    2. You are obsessed with national power and pride and believe your country doesn’t have to follow the rules and shouldn’t ever apologize for doing things that are wrong. You think your nation can do whatever it wants without criticism or consequence.

    3. You consider homosexuality, birth control, contraception, prostitution, and pornography deviant sexual behavior and seek to outlaw all.

    4. You disrespect women and think their place is in the home. You believe women are weak and cannot do things that men do. You make every effort to make sure you get to control women’s bodies and make reproductive decisions for them. You believe that sexual harassment or assault is no big deal and that the only thing women are good for is cooking meals and having babies.

    5. You are obsessed with national security and war. You feed this obsession by spending trillions of dollars building up an over-sized military force and are willing to sacrifice domestic programs your people count on to keep your military huge. You start unnecessary and costly wars and you are paranoid of other nations.

    6. You are driven to indoctrinate others into your way of thinking. So much so, that you try to re-write history, change the way school children are taught and you brainwash the ignorant.

    7. You fear and demonize intelligent people who have a higher education because they are the ones who can thwart your effort to brainwash people. You then attempt to prevent others from achieving a higher education because you want the people as ignorant as possible so you can convince them that your way is the right way.

    8. You have a deep hatred and fear of communists and you instill your followers with hatred and fear of others by accusing your political opponents of being communists. Any person or policy you don’t like is branded as communism so you can convince your supporters to oppose it by playing on the fears you instilled in them.

    9. You use the media as a political propaganda machine to target a specific audience and to push your agenda on others. You make sure your media machine demonizes your opponents and takes your side on nearly every issue. Your media machine disregards facts in favor of flagrant rhetoric and misinformation. You use your propaganda machine to generate fear and hate towards others, especially those you disagree with.

    10. You strongly align yourself with corporations and you support corporate money and influence in government. You despise government regulations that keep corporations honest because you believe everything should be controlled by the free market and that corporations should be allowed to do whatever they please.

    11. You are obsessed with your perverted brand of Christianity. You seek to declare a Christian State and to impose religious laws on all the people across the country and the world. You believe other religions are inferior and that those who practice them should be converted, destroyed, or have their lives turned into a living hell.

    12. You believe your race is superior and seek to disenfranchise or humiliate other races. You believe in legalized discrimination and fantasize about a return to times when the races were separate or when those of color were enslaved. You use code words in an attempt to hide your racism and you make laws that weaken the influence of those of color. Immigration and voting laws in particular.

    13. You absolutely despise unions. To you and those like you, labor unions represent the empowerment of workers. Since you believe corporations can do whatever they want, you see organized labor as a threat because they fight for higher wages, health care, safety regulations, less hours, vacations, sick days, and holidays off. This obviously threatens the amount of money corporations can give to you and your cause so you brand unions as proponents of socialism and make laws that severely weaken them so that corporations can have a cheap, powerless labor force they can abuse.

    14. You are obsessed with crime and a major supporter of punishing those who commit crimes. So much so, that you don’t care about the concept of ‘innocent until proven guilty.’ You are proud of executing people and aren’t bothered if an innocent person is killed. You seek to make harsher laws, especially laws that target specific groups of people such as immigrants, women, and people of color. You even defend a militarized police force that uses heavy-handed tactics. You also try to insert religion-based laws into the civil law so you can persecute people who haven’t adopted your strict moral code. You also oppose Miranda rights and using humane interrogation tactics and you seek to undermine the independent judicial system.

    15. You believe every election should go your way and to reach that goal, you push voting laws that disenfranchise those who traditionally vote for opponents such as people of color, the elderly, college students, and the poor. You even stoop to fixing elections in some cases, especially through gerrymandering to guarantee you’ll win every time. And you complain when your opponents challenge the vote counts.

    16. You believe in rewarding your friends with positions when you gain power and you reward those who support you with government contracts and money, especially corporations. You also do your best to aid your supporters in any way you can, such as repealing undesirable pieces of legislation and regulations.

    17. You create scapegoats to blame when problems arise. Whether it’s communists, liberals, minorities, homosexuals, the poor, immigrants, or non-Christians, one thing is for certain. You and your propaganda tool will blame each and every one of those groups for bad things that happen even if you were the cause of the problems in the first place.

    18. You take advantage of a national disaster such as an economic collapse or an attack to demonize your opponents and push your agenda, especially agendas that include huge military forces and less regulations for corporations. You use these events to strike fear into the population in an attempt to scare people into voting for you and your cause.

    19. You believe in survival of the fittest, an every man for himself social mentality that causes you to believe that poor people and sick people are weak and must be punished. You think rich people are strong because they are wealthy and that they should rule us, which also ties into rule by a few. You also believe your race is superior to all others and you work diligently to keep it that way.

    20. You hate liberal democracy and dream of a single party state where you have perpetual control and your opponents can no longer stand against your agenda.

  • Jeffrey

Fascism is the extreme right wing on the political spectrum. Communism is the extreme left wing. Donnie Jr went to at least as good a school as I did so how did he not learn this? EDIT: and I might also add that both are lousy.

    • Silver Badger

He is just following orders. That way he doesn’t have to think for himself and someone else will write his speeches.

    • ScubaBearLA

Which are both lousy? Communism and fascism, or the schools you and Donnie attended?

      • Jeffrey

I attended Brown. I’m not sure about Jr. I can’t tell if your comment is meant to frame yourself as a Commie apologist or as a fascist apologist. But I reiterate that both are lousy.

        • ScubaBearLA

I’m an apologist for neither. I was simply curious about the meaning of your statement.

  • worstcultever

No mention anywhere of how much $$ Junior pocketed. I guess that’s only a Hillary thing.

  • netxtown

I am delighted the university brought this nincompoop to center stage so that students have a very clear picture of ‘my way or the highway’ elitist nazi pig grifters. Their awareness of these dickheads – and the damage they cause to everyday folk – will serve us all well.

For those biology students – they will get to see first hand the delirious product of dotard tadpoles

  • Paula

Did he say actual fascists or factual ass-ists?

  • Mrs. Councillor Nugent

He may be partially right, but for the wrong reasons: Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School, etc. . .

  • Halou

Did he not see what his father’s supporters did in Charlottesville? The flag they were waving wasn’t ours and certainly didn’t deserve respect, that’s for sure. And somebody lost their life simply for opposing the Klansmen and other “good people” who were at the rally.

  • thatotherjean

Well, now. That apple didn’t fall far from the tree, did it? As if we needed more proof that a Trump is a Trump.

    • Steverino

More like the turd didn’t fall far from the asshole.

  • xzargo

    Enjoy prison, Asshole.

  • The_Wretched

No one is a great person. Everyone has a number of issues great and small. Being worshipful of certain persons is wrongful and worse, ‘great persons’ must not be given a pass on their misdeads.

  • Toot Sweet

What a total asshole. Just like daddy.

Why go to college when you can learn it from daddy?

Did you see hm laugh at $20,000 a year cost in schooling there? He is so so so far removed that $20,000 a year is like $5 to him. You can get an education here for $20,000 a year he laughed.

Oh my god I just hate this entire family so much. I just really hate them, the whole lot of them, but out of the children, Don Jr sets me on edge the most. Of course FAKE Ivanka is right up there to but Don Jr always has a smirk assed edge to him.

  • Sean

    More classic projection.

  • Robert Adams

So that explains the Trumps. Too much education.

It was like the time Ted Cruz accused his alma mater, Harvard, of turning out Liberals…except for him of course.

Now now, Junior. We can’t all major in “spending daddy’s money”.

  • JCF

Tick-tock, Jr. Prison awaits (you fucking TRAITOR)!!!!

  • andrew

Donnie Jr. can’t be so dumb that he doesn’t realize that his daddy is a fascist. Yep, he’s a certifiable Mussolini.

  • Snarky

Wow, reminds me of a few here who scream “FASCIST!” at anyone who disagrees with them in a comment.

*puts on seat belt and prepares to be called “FASCIST” repeatedly*
