Ex-Gay Nutjob Christopher Doyle: Out Of Control LGBT Activists Want To Traumatize Kids In Bathrooms

“The LGBT lobby is like a kid in a candy store with unlimited credit. The kid is high on sugar and bouncing off the walls while demanding more, all the while disturbing the other customers. The North Carolina Legislature and Governor are the brave candy store owners by saying no, and now the kid is out of control and will stop at nothing to get his way. The LGBT lobby bullies. They lie. They use intimidation tactics. They name-call. I have seen all of this in our #TherapyEquality movement to protect the rights of licensed therapy for sexually/gender confused and abused children.

“We live in the most compassionate, tolerant country in the world. We have compassion for minorities and accommodate them because it’s the right thing to do. We value human dignity and believe that everyone deserves respect, safety, and a fair chance. But the LGBT lobby is out of control and acting irresponsibly. They are willing to traumatize children in bathroom and locker rooms, while at the same time, promote a lifetime of chemical dependency for gender-confused kids. This is not love. This is not equality. Love has boundaries. Love has limits.” – Ex-gay nutjob Christopher Doyle, writing for the Christian Post.

  • Christ. What an asshole.

  • Steven Leahy

I’d find being in the men’s bathroom with his guy far, far creepier than having a transgender man next to me.

    • dcurlee

      Ain’t that the truth

    • Todd20036

Bathroom, heck. Just his photo creeps me out

Looks like he has children buried in his backyard

    • teeveedub

Why do I always think of the “only gay in the village” when I see a picture of Doyle?

      • Jerry

I always think of Jackie Coogan.

I haven’t seen any comments from you in awhile and was wondering how you were doing! (Not sure if I just missed them, or if you haven’t been around.)

In any case, great to see you!

      • Giant Monster Gamera

Thanks, Vorpal! I’m here almost every day though I don’t always have something to say.

My bad news is that I unexpectedly lost my eldercat Owen to pancreatitis last month and my younger cat Nicholas has become extremely needy.

The good news is that the boyfriend and his cat are moving in next month. Hopefully the two kitties will get along.

        • vorpal

Oh :(… I’m so sorry for your loss. We lost our eldercat Zoe about three years ago and we were both wrecks over it. She was the caretaker of the family and whenever someone was sick or not feeling well, she would be right next to you to do her best to bring you comfort. (LOL it was downright creepy at times: you’d wake up and she would be perched three inches from your face, watching you sleep, and explode into a cacophony of purrs as soon as your eyes opened!)

Owen was lucky to have you, and I’m absolutely sure vice versa, too!

That is awesome news about the boyfriend and his cat!
Congratulations! I am thrilled that things are working out so well with the two of you! Keep me updated on how your kitties mesh!

          • Giant Monster Gamera

Thank you, Vorpal. Zoe sounds just like Owen and they’ll both be missed. I adopted Owen as a sick senior cat and even though he was only with me for almost four years his absence is really felt.

          • vorpal

You are amazing for adopting a sick senior cat and giving him a great four years! The world is lucky to have people like you in it.

I think that four weeks is more than enough for me to get attached to these furry feline fiends. After four years, losing one would be heartbreaking.

          • vorpal

Decades of “reparative therapy” but no peer reviewed studies showing it is safe or effective. Who is the liar?

    • Scared Anon
    • John30013

And “licensed” therapists? Licensed by whom, exactly?

Furthermore, no one on Doyle’s “side” has explained just how a child might be “traumatized” by sharing a public restroom with a transperson. Whether or not a transwoman has had bottom surgery, she’s going to use a stall to pee, so where’s the opportunity for trauma? Ditto transmen who haven’t had bottom surgery. And a transman who has had bottom surgery can pee at a urinal just like all the other men in the restroom. So, again, where’s the trauma?

If anything, a child would be far more “traumatized” by seeing someone who appears to be the opposite gender in the restroom. (But, honestly, I think children would probably tend to take it all in stride, unlike their homo- and transphobic parents, or lying grifters like Doyle.)

      • CPT_Doom

I’m in Vegas for the weekend and grabbed a drink at Twin Peaka, which is not about the TV show (I’m with straight people, you know how they are). Anyway, the bathrooms weren’t gendered, they were “Stand2pee” and “Sit2pee.”. Seems reasonable to me.

This, Ex-gay nutjob Christopher Doyle needs to be locked up and throw away the key. His “therapy equality” is just another fraud to get money out of parents who want to keep their kids from being gay. Then their kids kill themselves after the torture and abuse these evil anti-gay Christians do to them.

  • Capritaur

We have compassion for minorities and accommodate them because it’s the right thing to do.

This reveals Doyle’s profound misunderstanding of why equality is important. Minority is not a disability nor are they a lesser people that rely on their overlord’s compassion. They do not need to be accommodated, they need to have the same rights and responsibilities like everyone else.

    • Gustav2

Damn, you think like you should be treated like a citizen or something!

Reminds me of Anita Bryant’s statement that if we let gays have civil rights, then prostitutes and thieves would also have to have them. Apparently she didn’t know they already did.

And there was a bloody struggle for minorities to get any civil rights in this country.

    • popebuck1

You mean we’re not children trying to grab unlimited candy (the candy being “our rights”), who need to be restrained by Big Daddy for our own good?

Jeez, I was trying to convey how paternalistic and condescending his argument sounded, but that came out a lot kinkier than I intended.

  • Mark Neé Fuzz

I have spent a lifetime in locker rooms and have never known a case of anyone traumatizing children in the men’s or women’s locker rooms. Not a single man dressed as a woman in the wrong room or vice versa. Not even men preying on boys in the men’s lockers. The only case I have ever heard of involved a man dressed as a man harassing mother and daughter in the FAMILY dressing room. I have had the pleasure of many good upstanding God fearing family friendly men like Mr. Doyle try to get under my towel in the steam room though. So suck it Doyle, you lying hypocritical fear mongering piece of shit.

    • Mark Neé Fuzz

      And two more rants.

If I’ve ever shared a locker room with a trangemdered individual, his doctors did a damn good job to where you’d never know.

There have also been occasions where dads have dragged daughters into the men’s locker room. So if anyone is traumatizing your daughters, it’s you yourself.

      • lymis

Frankly, any child that is traumatized by the simple fact that people pee, or by casual nudity, for that matter, has been badly raised.

I’m not advocating deliberate exposure, but the appropriate response to unexpected nudity is “Oh, excuse me,” not hysterical shrieking or physical assault.

    • Steven Leahy

I went into the wrong bathroom by accident at the DFW airport once, but that’s another story.

      • Mark Neé Fuzz

Were you dressed as a woman and did you peep under the partition into the next stall?

        • Steven Leahy

LOL no. It was very early in the morning and I escaped after a couple left and before anyone else came in. They would never have known how safe they were. I was sitting in the stall and saw the feminine hygiene machine on the wall is what first gave it away, I was like “oh, FUCK!” I pay a lot more attention now.

          • Tor

My clue was when I could not find the urinals.

          • Steven Leahy

LOL I didn’t need a urinal that day.

      • RainbowPhoenix

I’ve had a couple of brain farts where I went into the women’s room, but I’d realized what I’d done before I was in far enough to even see a stall.

        • Steven Leahy

LOL I was way was that stage. Was early and I wasn’t awake yet.

          • RainbowPhoenix

Yeah, well, I did it either late in the morning or the middle of the day. Fortunately, the girl/woman I nearly bumped into each time was sane.

      • Talisman

I went into the women’s restroom at a rest area one time. It wasn’t one on my usual route, and I am used the men’s room being 2-sided, with each having a separate entry. I peed, washed my hands, and walked out just as 2 women walked in. They did a double take, and I realized my mistake and apologized. No one raised any alarms or screamed bloody murder. Of course, that was 3 years ago – the climate has really changed now.

      • Platos_Redhaired_Stepchild

Honestly, as a woman I’ve “stolen” the men’s room on multiple occasion. A lot of women do. Potty parity, Transphobe bitches!

There’s a long line for the ladies and the men’s is empty (or nearly empty), I’m going in, boys! I claim this potty in the name of Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons!

My old eyes misread “hysteria” as “hyena” … hmmm …

        • Gianni

That gave me a good laugh. Thanks. 🙂

        • Gianni

That gave me a good laugh. Thanks. 🙂

    • CPT_Doom

Never mind the Intersex people. Do you realize women and girls have been peeing and changing nextto people with XY chromosomes for years? (See Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome for details).

    • kaydenpat

Your question perfectly demonstrates why bathroom laws are unnecessary. So much for small government Republicans.

    • Marti386

I wish someone had given me the memo about becoming a predator.. I’m WAY behind on this month’s molesting quota.

      • Bluto

Don’t forget about your gay recruitment quota either! If we don’t keep those numbers up then Aaron Schock will demand he be allowed to redecorate the gay lobby. It’ll be tacky.

  • Mark

It’s been a while since I heard that much bullshit come out of one mouth and it wasn’t Trump or Cruz.

  • billbear1961

From what I’ve read about YOUR past, you nasty psycho, YOU’RE the one who likes to traumatize children.

Suppose you keep your hateful, shit-disturbing face OUT of restrooms when people are there to legitimately relieve themselves.

There has not been ONE case, since laws have been on the books in ANY city or state allowing people to use restrooms that align with their gender identification, of trans people attacking others in restrooms–not ONE.

And no anti-trans law will stop heterosexual predators from disguising themselves to prey on victims in a restroom IF they EVER used such techniques, which they do NOT!!

You just thought this was a clever way to frighten ignorant people so you could use that fear to decimate LGBT rights.

But it’s not working out too well, is it, you deceptive FREAK??

    Get lost–throw your tantrums ELSEWHERE!!

Preferably in an ASYLUM, where you BELONG!!

    • David Milley

      You tell ’em Billbear!! Hugs!!

    • BudClark

He SCARES me … and at my age, I’m not scared of MUCH …

      • billbear1961

Of course, he does, Bud–most sane people are frightened to some degree by creepy psychos.

*I* certainly wouldn’t want to be left alone with him!

  • rabbit_ears

You want to sing that compassion song again? I’m pretty sure you aren’t getting it right.

    • BudClark

That’s HORRIBLE! Has the MSM given ANY time to it?

      • rabbit_ears

Not many that I’ve seen, just the queer media, of course. Its only an LGBT thing so, no biggie apparently.

  • SammySeattle

How is it that Republicans always sell their hate as something that it isn’t? The “bathroom bill” has so many wider implications. But I guess that was the best fear tactic under which they could sell the widespread discrimination allowable under this bill.

    • Gianni

True. It’s well known that trans and gay are inseparably linked in the general American mindset. They found a way to terrorize the people by creating this transgender bathroom molestation thing and, at the same time, get back at us for getting marriage equality legalized.

      • Sporkfighter

“They found a way to terrorize the people by creating this transgender bathroom molestation thing . . .”

I doubt anyone really fears this. Progressives know it’s shit, and conservatives know it’s a propaganda, a rallying cry like the old rebel yell, with no real content.

    • Tor

Most Americans do not understand what transgender means. If they think it means a scruffy man in a dress, they are right to be afraid. But that’s not it at all. Again, as with all things regarding rights of minorities, especially sexual minorities, we need education, education, education.

      • billbear1961

But the right will do their best to see to it that the country is flooded with nothing but propaganda, propaganda, propaganda–HATE propaganda.

Because the ONLY way they can ever HOPE to win an argument is with LIES.

If journalists would do their JOBS, there is NO WAY the right could win.

But the corporate media rarely do–so, it’s up to social media to spread the TRUTH!!

        • Tor

          Yes, billbear, absolutely correct.

        • Including people who ought to know better. See the Katie Couric interview of Laverne Cox as an example.

        • BudClark

          BIG hugs to The Bear!

            The bear

            😉

      • People are not that ignorant. They are assholes. They know that trans people are not predators and they also know that few if any straight men are going to cross dress just to look at women’s ankles while they pee. This is just the new boogey-man they can use to excuse themselves for being assholes.

        • BudClark

WHEN were women’s ANKLES last considered sex objects in the civilized western world? My mother was married in 1928, and her flapper wedding dress came up to her KNEES in the front ! (chuckle)

          • rabbit_ears

            Knees!?! OMG How unseemly! 😉

          • Bomer

Lol My Grandmother thinks the ugliest parts of the female body are the knees. It’s fun to get her started on skirts/dresses that stop above the knee.

      • BudClark

*I’d* like to know WHERE in Amerikkka that was true in *1950* … a few enclosed religious Communities, MAYBE? Otherwise, it was Open Season on Blacks, Queers, non-Whites, etc. etc. etc.

        • RainbowPhoenix

You answered your own question. It was like that in the white communities. At least, the reasonably affluent ones…

  • MikeBx2

Sooner or later someone needs to compile a list of actual crimes against children that have occurred in bathrooms and locker rooms. Let’s take a close look at who the perpetrators actually are.

“We live in the most compassionate, tolerant country in the world.” — he SERIOUSLY said this?!?!? He needs help.

    • BudClark

Yeah. It’s so compassionate and tolerant that I am seriously planning to move my 71-year-old, ill, disabled self and my disabled son to Canada, Mexico, Britain, or Australia if the Fascists win the next election (!).

Yes, that is extremely disturbing coming from an admitted child molester.

      • ByronK

I just looked up some of that shit and the man is seriously damaged and should not be airing his shit in public.

  • Cackalaquiano

    #TherapyEquality?
    Really?

  • RaygunsGoZap

Gender Abuse is it? Well, that’s a nifty new turd in the pile of dog shit they call arguments. Now supporting your transgender child is gender abuse. Sack of shit.

    • billbear1961

This creature is MAD as a LOON–always has been.

  • This entire argument is too fucking ignorant to humor anymore. DELETE!

And by delete, I mean drownout any asshole who tries to bring it up with the weirdest thing you can think of about them. “Is it true you like to run your tongue down the cracks of dung beetle shells? You do realize that’s unsanitary, right? I don’t know what kind of diseases they suffer from, but they must certainly carry a lot of them. Doesn’t your tongue feel weird? Does it taste like animal shit? You certainly smell of it.” Just motormouth their bullshit away.

  • billbear1961

You aren’t going to leave pronouncements by this LOON up as the last story of the day, are you, Joe?

It’s the Queen’s 90th birthday today, and the President has been invited to dine with her to celebrate!

    How about THAT, Joe??

I think I converted to Anglicanism when I saw the newsreels of Her Majesty’s Coronation. As one of the tenors in St. Paul’s choir remarked, “for the first time in my life, I realized there was a larger world than the trailer park in East Bartow where I lived.”

He’s angry because the adults in the room just told him there’s no constitutional right to promote fraud. And just like strident anti-gay “Christians” and the militant anti-gay lobby in NC and MS, he wants special rights now.

    http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/ex-gay-activists-says-nobody-born-gay-they-are-just-born-sensitive-temperament
Here is this psycho holding forth on how it’s just ‘sensitive temperaments’ and gay men who are turned on by other men are just trying to be close to them ’emotionally.’ I’m sure his next line is about ‘searching for father figures….’ By the way, gay men really want women–did you all know that?

    • rabbit_ears

“…where he informed hosts Tim Wildmon and Ed Vitagliano that nobody is
born gay but rather some people are simply born with a “sensitive
temperament” that makes them think they are gay.”

My temperament between my legs is pretty sensitive. It always points towards males. Big hairy ones. Its like a divining rod!

      • Christopher Smith

You know, Bunny, I have the same problem. Clearly we need ‘reparative therapy’ so we can learn to molest little girls, don’t you think?

I mean, NAME IT and CLAIM IT……………..:)

  • kaydenpat

Ex-gay should be in quotes since there is no such thing.

  • This demonization of trans people is really pissing me off. Maybe it’s because I know a few trans people and know what shit they went through? Maybe because I remember hearing the shit people used to say about gay people back when most people were publicly anti-gay and that was more acceptable? I know how that felt and wouldn’t wish that on anyone? I don’t know but it’s really pissing me off. And why? Because it’s such a small and misunderstood group that they are an easy target? Grrrr.

    • Tor

Exactly on point, Hound. Easy target.

    • Cboulder

Maybe easily – vilified, but you hardly ever see them make a spectacle of themselves unless wanting to piss safely and privately is now considered flaunting something, or an affront to public decency as seems to be the contention of these bigots. I can only assume that these types are, or aspire to be peeping – Toms. If not, why are they so interested in policing bathrooms? WTF!

      • lymis

Existing is seen as flaunting something, for most of these haters.

  • Six Pins Delores

    Chrome dome should just THSsssssstop

  • Okay, who has the stats? Who can tell me how many times in the last… EVER has anyone been sexually assaulted by transgender individuals in public bathrooms? How does that number compare to the number of assaults committed by doctors? Police officers? Drunken frat boys? Aren’t we all scared of frat boys? Let’s bar them from public rest rooms and make them pee in the woods!

The site linked in this post has less traffic than any I have ever seen. I would mock this “ex-gay” douche if there was a possibility that this ignorant article was likely to be read by anyone aside from fellow travelers. Too busy mourning our androgynous angel to give a fuck about this tool

  • jo gerardo

We take my mom-in-law out sometimes on weekends. We always have to stop at a public bathroom and either her son or I have to wheel her in the stall and assist her. It’s never been a problem, I usually knock and yell we’re coming in. I hope for their sake I never get called out for being in the woman’s restroom. I Hulk out very easily.

    • Austin Bennett

      HULK SMASH!

On a similar note, the Housemen at my hotel will clean the women’s restrooms. There’s one in the lobby and one downstairs. They knock on the door and say, “Housekeeping”. They leave the door open with a sign.

They’ve been yelled at a few times. We have one PM Housewoman, but she doesn’t work every night.

Do you want the bathrooms cleaned or not? If you do, then let the guy do it. He’s there to work, not to watch you piss.

      • jo gerardo

I used to play “nooner” basketball at this rec center. This old lady custodian would always be cleaning the bathroom when we showered. “It’s the only time I can clean it!” It didn’t do any good to complain and we never saw her staring, so we just laughed it off.

        • Helen Damnation ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

ooh, that made me hard, a little. (i’m sorry)

  • Newsflash, baldy: if *anyone* would be the pervy ones in this situation, it is the imaginary threat of straight guys masquerading as women in order to watch little girls pee. Or rather, the pervy ones are the ones imagining such things, and making laws to restrain themselves. It sure as hell isn’t the LGBT “lobby” looking for a free-show in the ladies’ room.

    • BudClark

With sincerest apologies to all my lesbian friends, boobies and hoo-hahs do NOTHING for me. Never HAVE. I GUESS that’s why I’m QUEER .

But did you lift your pinky?

          • Bomer

That I don’t know but according to both my mother and Grandmother I did pee on the doctor.

Um, it’s not about love. It’s about equal civil rights for your fellow citizens. Members of the LGBT community are not your children, needing you to chastise them and decide what limits are good for them. They are taxpaying, voting, members of society who are entitled to all the rights and responsibilities of citizens.

I’m beginning to think Christopher Doyle is a lot like Ann Coulter: they can’t possibly believe their own bullshit; everything they do is for money.
Can I get an amen? Like if you agree.

    • John Calendo

Ann, however, is a pro, very funny and very nasty.

  • Porkie

Why don’t you tell us about the little girls that YOU traumatized? Did you “respect” them? Frankly I wouldn’t let you with in a country mile of any child.

  • John Calendo

Whenever I see that picture of Christopher Doyle — the shiny bald head, the absence of eyebrows — my first impression is that it’s an ad for Sloan-Kettering.

  • Blake Jordan

It this is only about the toilet, bathroom, etcetera part… then why are all these people not calling for the repeal of the rest of the law???
Everything else (99%) was not necessary to “protect” people in those places!!!!

  • John Calendo

“Love has boundaries. Love has limits”

Conservatives are always about limits, about “can’t” and “don’t.” Freedom frightens them. Nature frightens them. For the religious conservative to feel safe, nature must be controlled, not just their own nature but the nature of other people.

But nature doesn’t obey. Nature is too powerful and follows its own rules. This is how they can imagine that one exposure to a gay person can turn a young person gay. The conservative mind is always on the edge of the abyss, trying now to look down. Sex, to them, is a contagion, a fall, a lapse into pleasure that incurs the wrath of their very prickly anti-nature god.

Of all the natural desires, conservatives concentrate on sex because sex is the one that most excites them. In fact, judging from the looks of them, they should be paying a lot more attention to overeating and drunkenness.

    • “Conservatives are always about limits, about “can’t” and “don’t.””

Except when it comes to their own “rights.”

  • I guess Doyle never had much contact with reality to begin with. It’s only gotten worse, apparently.

  • shrumpi

I love that the logo for their task force features a sexy, shapely Lady Justice with luxurious, flowing hair. It just screams out, “I LOVE PUSSY!”

  • Skokieguy [Larry]

There’s not a single sentene in the entire screed that contains any truth. Literally every single sentence is the opposite of reality.

Doyle is writing in favor of the bathroom bills and actually says: “We live in the most compassionate, tolerant country in the world. We have compassion for minorities and accommodate them because it’s the right thing to do. He can’t truly believe in god, or isn’t he in fear of being struck dead for lying (smoted?)

When I read this types of posts, it begs the question, where do you draw the line between religious beliefs and mental illness?

Pretty clear to see that Doyle has long crossed it.

And his no eyebrow thing is far more likely to be scare to kids than any made up trans predator.

  • Stev84

Hasn’t this asshole admitted to molesting children?

    • Skokieguy [Larry]

      Oh, you mean:

“I tried to have sex with the little girls that my mother watched in her
daycare, and eventually, one of the girls told her parents what I was
doing. The shame that was placed on me by my parents was more than I
could bear. Rather than rescue me, teach me, and put me in counseling,
the ‘bad boy’ was left alone to deal with all of this shame.”
