“Today I ask that you join me in praying for the lives affected by the White House decision to pull U.S. troops out of northern Syria. Both Democrat and Republican leaders in Washington are deeply concerned because this would be, in essence, abandoning our closest allies in the region—the Kurdish people.
“The Turkish army has invaded Syria in the area that the U.S. military withdrew from. They say they want to create a safe zone. The Turks have a dismal record on human rights; and frankly, I’m concerned that they can’t be trusted. We need to pray for the Kurds and for Christians and other minorities who live in this region.
“The Kurds are the ones who have been leading the fight against ISIS in Syria. Also pray for the Christians in northern Syria who the Kurds have been protecting. Would you pray with me that President Donald J. Trump will reconsider? Many thousands of lives hang in the balance.” – Franklin Graham.
