“I am introducing a bill that prohibits the injection, release, or dispersion of chemicals or substances into the atmosphere for the express purpose of altering weather, temperature, climate, or sunlight intensity. It will be a felony offense.
“I have been researching weather modification and working with the legislative counsel for months writing this bill. It will be similar to Florida’s Senate Bill 56.
“We must end the dangerous and deadly practice of weather modification and geoengineering. This is not normal. I want clean air, clean skies, clean rain water, clean ground water, and sun shine just like God created it!! No person, company, entity, or government should ever be allowed to modify our weather by any means possible!!
“Honored to add Tim Burchett as a cosponsor and look forward to working with more members of Congress, hopefully on both sides of the aisle.” – Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, apparently believing that today’s floods in Texas are caused by weather control.
Last month Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry both signed bills banning supposed weather control in their states.
In October 2024, Greene declared that Democrats had used weather control to cause hurricanes to hit red states and hurt election turnout for Trump.
Her claim was mocked by fellow House Republicans, with Florida Rep. Carlos Gimenez calling her “loony tunes.”
Yes they can control the weather.
