Buttigieg quickly tried to backtrack the slight after being taken to task for saying New Jersey was a “very unlikely” location for a UFO landing on The Breakfast Club, co-hosted by Charlamagne tha God. “I mean no disrespect to New Jersey when I say I think it’s very unlikely that an alien invasion would begin in New Jersey,” he said.
“Watch your mouth, we live there,” said the show’s co-host DJ Envy, who said all three presenters lived in the state.
