The Villages News reports:
A lawsuit has been filed seeking to declare the Aug. 23 Republican primary election invalid and ordering a runoff election between Congressman Daniel Webster and challenger Laura Loomer.
Five individuals filed the lawsuit claiming that they are citizens of District 11 who voted in the election and believe that widespread misconduct by election officials occurred prior to and during the election in August. Webster, the incumbent Congressman, has been declared the winner of the GOP contest.
The plaintiffs allege that vote by mail fraud by way of address flipping occurred. They claim that Lake County Supervisor of Elections Alan Hays sent out thousands vote by mail ballots that were returned due to bad addresses yet were counted in the election. Loomer does not appear as a plaintiff to this suit.
The Daily Beast reports:
One of the five supposed plaintiffs listed on the lawsuit told The Daily Beast she had no idea her name was going on the case and doesn’t think malfeasance occurred in the election.
Theresa Rinaldi, of Orange County, cast her vote for Loomer, but says she was added to the lawsuit without her knowledge or permission. “I want my name off of that, because I did not witness any voter fraud,” Rinaldi said.
In their phone call, according to Rinaldi, [lawyer John] Pierce never said she would be listed as a plaintiff in any lawsuit. Rinaldi said Pierce spoke rapidly, making it difficult for her to understand what he was saying. “I felt like he was tricking me in that phone conversation, I really did,” Rinaldi said.
Rinaldi says she “almost fainted” when she read a news report naming her as a plaintiff. John Pierce, you may recall, has represented Kyle Rittenhouse and a slew of Capitol riot defendants. Many of those clients bailed on him last year when he went missing for two weeks. There’s much more at both links above.
John Pierce, who also represents several J6 defendants, has filed a lawsuit alleging voter fraud in Laura Loomer’s losing race for Congress. https://t.co/GwI20VkRz3
