The Washington Post reports:
As officials in key battleground states continued to tally legally cast ballots, Trump on Thursday tweeted “STOP THE COUNT!” Several states also showed movement in vote totals in Biden’s direction during tabulation of more mail-in ballots.
Trump’s message seemed to be at odds with that of his senior campaign officials, who told reporters in a phone call Wednesday that they were confident of victory if every legally cast ballot was counted.
During a television interview earlier Thursday, Kellyanne Conway, a former senior aide to Trump and his campaign manager in 2016, counseled patience as states continued to count votes.
