Miami’s NBC News affiliate reports:

An iguana hunter armed with a pellet gun in Florida missed his target and struck a pool boy working in somebody’s yard last Friday, according to a report. The misfire happened as pool workers were doing maintenance in the patio area of E-Lyn Bryan’s Boca Raton home.

“I came out to see what they were doing and I heard him scream at the top of his lungs ‘owww!,’” Bryan told the network. “He had blood coming out of his leg and he was shot by the hunter,” she added.

“We had the iguanas everywhere. If neighbors are gonna be like the Wild West and shoot at everything, someone is gonna get killed,” warned Bryan.
