NBC News reports:
Amazon has removed English-language books by a man largely considered “the father of conversion therapy” from its site following mounting pressure from LGBTQ activists.
Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, founder of the now-shuttered Thomas Aquinas Psychological Clinic, as well as the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH), authored several how-to guides directed to parents of LGBTQ youth, including “A Parent’s Guide to Preventing Homosexuality.”
His books are some of the most well-known works about conversion therapy, the pseudoscientific practice of trying to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity.
The usual suspects are raging. My post on Nicolosi’s 2017 death is here and screencapped below.
I knew Amazon would dump Nicolosi’s books. Predicted it, in fact. Thou Shalt Not Anger Big Gay.
Buy a hard copy of every solid book on homosexuality that you can, while you still can. More of this is ahead. @stephenhblack @PeterLaBarbera https://t.co/QsyA6RBjfr— Janet Mefferd (@JanetMefferd) July 3, 2019
You can buy books buy Hitler, Mao, Lenin, Marx, Goebbels, and David Duke on https://t.co/XSuO5cwNUA — but not by Catholic shrink Joseph Nicolosi, who offends gay activists. Ominous sign for free speech, debate, and inquiry in age of #wokecapitalism. https://t.co/t7RMjP3vZy
