REPORT: H.R. McMaster Privately Mocked Trump As An “Idiot” With The Intelligence Of A “Kindergartener”

Buzzfeed News reports:

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster mocked President Trump’s intelligence at a private dinner with a powerful tech CEO, according to five sources with knowledge of the conversation.

Over a July dinner with Oracle CEO Safra Catz — who has been mentioned as a candidate for several potential administration jobs — McMaster bluntly trashed his boss, said the sources, four of whom told BuzzFeed News they heard about the exchange directly from Catz. The top national security official dismissed the president variously as an “idiot” and a “dope” with the intelligence of a “kindergartner,” the sources said.

A sixth source who was not familiar with the details of the dinner told BuzzFeed News that McMaster had made similarly derogatory comments about Trump’s intelligence to him in private, including that the president lacked the necessary brainpower to understand the matters before the National Security Council.

Both Oracle and the Trump administration are strongly denying the report.

    Someone wants to be fired!

    • tbj5

      Someones want to fire McMaster

    • Chucktech

If that’s what he wants, he should waltz right into the Oval Office, look Trump right in his beady eyes and say, “You know that gossip going around that I called you an idiot and dumb as a kindergartener? It’s true. Whatcha gonna do about it?”

    • Lantor

If I were in McMaster’s position, I’d desperately want to be fired too, since he can’t quit.

How dare they insult a “Kindergartener” !

  • I question the sanity and judgment of anybody who does not believe this, even if they lie publicly about it.

Donald is not only a profoundly, staggeringly ignorant man incapable of rectifying his ignorance because he falsely believes he knows everything and is the smartest human being there ever was, but he’s also certifiably insane.

And that’s the problem. Dementia-level stupidity can be contained and managed. A madman and his impulses cannot, especially when wedded to an amount of power he should never have been allowed to acquire.

We must also never forget: The Republicans in Congress could end this nightmare at any time. They choose not to, probably believing we’ll all blame Donald for the terror and horror.

I will never forget nor ever forgive. They are complicit in the madness, the corruption, and the outright treason.

    • The_Wretched

They could even engineer a 25th Amendment exit with relative grace and be done in under 2 weeks.

    • Tread

They’re complicit because it’s going to reveal that all of the dark money funding the GOP has come from Russia. They’re treasonous assholes themselves.

      • robindaybird

I wouldn’t be surprised if 15-25% of them are directly in Russia’s pockets, and they intimidate/bribed the rest into silence

        • JackFknTwist

I totally agree; I didn’t see your post. I second your remarks,
          That was to tread above.

        My thoughts absolutely.

    • JackFknTwist

Yet these enablers think of themselves as patriots.

They are indeed enabling the continued degradation of their country knowing that Trump/turd is essentially intellectually disabled.
Tillerson and McMaster, far from saving the USA, are complicit in its destruction.

They will be tried in the courts for their conspiracy against the state.

      • scottrose

Do you suppose that Tillerson having an Order of Friendship medal from Putin has something to do with Tillerson saying nothing about the shit stain Toxic Donald failure to enforce Russian sanctions that passed Congress?

Also, why aren’t Ryan and McConnell publicly criticizing Toxic Donald for that?

You could almost get the idea that their votes for the sanctions were a charade.

        • JackFknTwist

They are up to their necks in treason. Not one of them has a back bone or a principle.

      • Chucktech

Yet these enablers think of themselves as patriots.

No they don’t. Not deep down, in their heart of hearts they don’t. They puff up and quack PATRIOT for the deplorables who eat that shit up.

    • TrueWords

What Republicans could and should do is grown a spine, speak to truth to power by saying publicly how stupid and unfit Trump is and should be removed from office.

      That’s what they could do.

Being the gutless wonders they all are they will fall in line like the weak kneed cretins they all are and say and do nothing!

I think Republicans would be shocked at the effects of simply, clearly, and without equivocation condemning their man’s worst behavior, since it seems pretty clear that the support and adulation of his base is all he really cares about.

    • acde

They are lining their pockets faster and deeper than in any other probable scenario. And they have NO integrity, nor concern for the country or planet.

    • rednekokie

Even if I tried hard, I could never say it better. McMaster is 100 percent correct in this. The president is about as intelligent as a brass door knob.

  • Hahahahahah… oh wait, Trump won the electoral college. *Goes into the corner. Sits down, grabs knees and starts rocking back and forth*

How long before McMaster is declared a terrorist?

    We know this already.

I doubt it. McMaster does not strike me as stupid enough to talk like to this to anyone farther away than his pillow.

    • Chris Baker

I don’t know…. Maybe the Oracle guy started trash talking Trump a bit and McMaster just agreed and joined in. It’s obvious to anyone that Trump is not the brightest bulb in the box. He doesn’t have a clue how to interact with people or how to behave.

  • Mike_in_the_Tundra

C’mon bro, as high as a kindergartener’s? Really?

The White House denied the allegations, and Donald Trump tweeted he’s not a kindergartener. “1st grade, already in second Dick & Jane reader! And Kim Jong Un is a stoopid poo-poo head! Sad!”

  • ECarpenter

You can mock these guys all you want, but Trump and the alt-right are winning the propaganda war they started.

They don’t want you to work effectively to get them out. They want you to sit back and smirk.

Take a long look at yourself. Are you doing exactly what they want you to do?

    • JackFknTwist

      ask that question of Mcmaster.

    • SoCalGal20

      I can multitask. Thanks!

    • pch1013

      Concern troll is concerned.

ICYMI, Democrats won big on November 7, and the campaigns of the people involved did generally *not* involve flinging insults on anonymous message boards.

  • Statistics Palin

Kindergarteners are relentlessly curious and logical. Trump could learn a lot from them.

  • ColoMtnWoman

This is not new information… Even Tillerson called him a “moron.”

  • Jeffg166

    Not a secret.

  • Bj Lincoln

Of course the White House would deny this. That is exactly the reason I think it is true. McMaster is spot on and I’m glad he is repeating it.

  • KaBoomBOX

    Assessment seems legit.

  • RJ Bone

None of them are truly loyal. They’re in it for what they think it gets them. If they think they’ll actually be hurt (which they don’t because they perceive themselves as invincible right now), they will flip on their own (they’d flip on an infant if they could pass blame to them), if they could.

There is no such thing as naive loyalty among evil like this. Always keep that in mind. It is selfishness at it’s core.

It SHOULD be their downfall, but the country has too many supporting them for it to happen naturally.

  • TheManicMechanic

An insult to kindergartners the world over.

I’ve known kids that age that are far better behaved than Trump in so many ways.

  • FelineMama

I don’t consider this “mocking”. I feel it is an honest assessment! But he still holds the highest office in the good ole usa. Amerikkka is soooo proud. Thanks congress!

  • Jean-Marc in Canada

Hair Furor, they aren’t loyal to you…neither are the grease infused larvae you call sons.

  • Gianni

The press corps definitely has to ask Sarah about this. She needs to keep practicing and honing her bobbing, dodging, and weaving skills.

  • andrew

I am sure that any intelligent people who have to deal with Trump on serious governmental issues are fully aware that he is an idiot, dope and kindergartner. That McMaster thinks so should not surprise anyone.

  • Gianni

Major difference is that the kindergartner is just starting out and stands a good chance of gaining in intelligence, knowledge, experience, and learning other life lessons. Donnie? Not so much.
