CNN Host Grills Jill Stein Over Putin Meeting [VIDEO]

The Washington Examiner reports:

The Green Party’s Jill Stein says a recent spike in interest about a photo of her having dinner with Russian President Vladimir Putin can be traced to Democrats “looking for someone to blame” for their election struggles.

The photo, from late 2015, shows Stein seated at a table at a Moscow gala with Putin and Mike Flynn, who would go on to become the national security adviser to President Trump. It has been reported that Flynn was paid $45,000 to speak at the gala.

Stein also sought to shut down people who blame her for stealing votes away from Hillary Clinton, resulting in a Trump victory on Election Day. “Hillary Clinton did not earn the votes of Greens,” she said, adding that both Clinton and Trump failed to attract the support of 45 percent of eligible voters who didn’t cast ballots in November.

  • Do Something Nice

I don’t believe that Jill Stein cost Hillary the election.

I don’t believe that Jill Stein is worthy of a post on any blog.

I don’t believe that Jill Stein is worthy of an interview on any TV show.

    • Friday

Frankly, her splitting off the votes was one of the five things that had to be finagled just right for Trump, if she hadn’t we likely wouldn’t be in this disaster, either, ….she’s just not the *only* cause. They needed *all* their dirty tricks for this one, though.

      • Chucktech

With a little help from their friend-skies…

        • Treant

Now, now. Jill would tell you that you’re rushin’ to a conclusion there.

          • Boreal

            You spelled russian wrong.

      • abqdan

Hilary lost because she didn’t offer a sufficiently strong message to her base. She and her team made numerous missteps, and that is what cost her the election. Certainly Russia was working against her, but that should not have been able to affect the outcome – if she’d been a much stronger candidate. In general, it’s become too difficult for new, more able candidates to become the nominees in either party.

        • Friday

Bullshit. Her message was offered, the media covered bullshit and emails.

      • Do Something Nice

We don’t know IF those votes would have gone to Clinton. Given some of Jill’s nutcase views, they may have all been siphoned from Trump.

        • Friday

Doubtful, and her efforts at vote suppression of progressives and media stunts were probably worse.

Yeah, Jill, like you did anything to earn Green votes, while bashing Hillary (who you should have given support to if you *had* earned any) with bullshit for Trumputin. And for some reason you’re still repeating Herr Drumph’s talking points and… Not doing anything for Green causes.

  • safari

    Oh, Jillybeans.

  • Scout

O/T but this is worrying me. I just posted it in an old post so sorry for the double, but I am hoping someone can answer it. Are we reading some of this Trump stuff wrong? Are we overreacting, are some of his actions more reasonable than we are allowing or is he just a mastermind of snaking around?

Seems like Trump really has covered himself well against criticism for the “tapes” comment, he said “Comey better hope there are no “tapes”, and is now saying, “well we have this seriously bad situation out there where are a lot of stealth tapes are being made all the time, I have not made any, but I was saying Comey better hope there are no tapes, and once Comey realized there might be tapes (made by someone else, not me) I think he changed his story”.

This all comes together really well, right? It sounds reasonable. It is a reasonable way to protest someone lying against you . . . that person better hope there are no “tapes” , because if there are tapes, your lies will be proved wrong. I am backing up the truth of my side of the story by my assertion that if there were tapes of reality, my truth would be confirmed.

Please tell me how this is not the perfect response to why there is nothing wrong with his “tapes” comment and explains why he did nothing wrong . . . Can’t anyone say to someone who is “lying” about them that that person better hope there aren’t any “tapes”? My neighbor says he didn’t steal my newspaper, and I respond that he better hope there aren’t any “tapes”.

    • safari

This is a man who fired the FBI director for investigating a foreign nation influencing our election — something that after 5 months in office he’s finally admitted but only when backed against the wall. He then tried to threaten the FBI director by slandering him in public. He is a con man who is hungry for power, plain and simple.

Dictators threaten civil servants, by the way.

    • Lazycrockett

The problem with Drumpf is no one believes him except for a few nutters. Comey is highly respected and is refered to as a boy scout by many who know him. To even try and question Comey’s honest was ridiculous and made Drumpf look more foolish than normal. Did he cover his ass, yes but even a idiot gets things right once in a while. No on in DC thought there were any tapes.

    • Treant

Trump has had years to learn double-speak and threats that are only contextual.

“I will rip off your head and shove it up your ass” would not come out of his mouth.

“As President, I am advising you that you might want to cancel this investigation,” when spoken to an employee, is.

Don’t let them snow you. Trump’s awful, evil, and a total con man. He’s just good at snowing people…until they bring shovels.

I’m not worried about overplaying as much as I am bluffing.

      • Gerry Fisher

Having an opinion about one of hundreds of his bullshit statements is “overplaying our hand”?! As long as we all understand that supporting Mueller and his investigation is the primary focus, I think we’ll be OK.

    • Chucktech

Please tell me how this is not the perfect response to why there is nothing wrong with his “tapes” comment and explains why he did nothing wrong

I hardly see anything perfect about:

    • cheakamus

I think the scenario you describe is very plausible; however, I don’t think Trump is bright enough or quick enough to have thought of it on his own. Rather, I think he spoke off the top of his head when he was angry, i.e., his typical style, and his minions had to scramble to come up with this.

      • Scout

Yes, he probably got a lot of help on the spin. Thanks.

    • Gerry Fisher

You’re overthinking things, IMO. I’ve come to agree with the folks that say that, technically, Trump is a bullshitter more than a liar. He throws out whatever seems to suit his purpose and mood in the moment, all in a way in which the truth is irrelevant to him (as opposed to a liar who cares that a specific truth get undermined). Over the years, he’s learned cagey (as another commenter accurately puts it, “double speak”) and effective marketing language to apply to his outbursts. Other than that, there is no strategy, IMO.

Keep it simple. If this was some regular Joe saying this directly to someone just about to testify, it would clearly be “witness tampering,” which is a serious offense. Because it’s the President, because it’s Twitter, and because Trump is the consummate bully who’s mastered threatening people without explicitly threatening them, it’s getting contorted.

(It’s been disappointing to me to see how thrilled so may Americans feel when their leader is an obvious bully.)

      • Scout

All great points. I definitely overthink things. Agreed that it is disheartening how so many Americans love a bully. And so many “Christians” don’t really want to help out their fellow Americans.

      • UrsusArctos

45* was groomed very well by Roy Cohn to attack/distract/bluster/ignore facts/double down on attacks in order to shift the process. At 71 years old 45* he does this like breathing, even when it hurts his “goals”. He thrives on drama, as long as it’s focused around him and he thinks he’s manipulating the story. Inconsistency serves him, it lets others pick the parts they like, just like they do with the bible.

    • David Walker

Two things come to mind. One is that he’s threatening a witness. The other is that he’s used this line before because he’s a bully and it looked like things weren’t going his way. I posted this before, but I’ll run it again. And let’s just say that I trust Rachel ahelluvalot more than I trust 45.

    • BobSF_94117

Congratulations. You’ve fallen for the trick. The issue isn’t whether there are tapes. The issue is the President attempted to obstruct justice and, failing to do so one way, proceeded to do so another way. But you’re all caught up in whether misleading the American people for weeks is a good strategy to get them to forget what’s important.

Bottom line, everything she claims to care about from the earth to campaign finance reform etc. is going to be hurt for decades to come due to Trump being able to put far right judges on the court and what they are doing to departments etc.

My issue is with CNN. These were legitimate questions to ask before the election, not 6 months afterwards.

      • CNN was salivating over the ratings that Trump gave them and ignored EVERYTHING else that was staring them in the face…

I refuse to watch CNN or any of these mainstream news channels now that he is President as if they are trying to redeem themselves…they are a part of the problem

        • Cattleya1

CNN was one of my routine daily news sites (I read, not watch the talking heads) but I deleted them from my bookmarks menu on November 9th. I have not clicked on them a single time since. The “you cost xxx the election” is a nonsense in a democracy where multiple candidates are permitted. Are we saying “you can be a candidate, but no-one is allowed to vote for you”? It’s up to the candidates in an election to win support. When you have an effective candidate, the fringe candidates get support only from fringe voters who would not have voted for the main candidates anyway.

So, we should stop with the blame-game on minority candidates, or ban anyone other than Republicans and Democrats from running. We can’t have it both ways. What we REALLY need are some excellent new politicians who can truly represent the opinions and positions of the majority. Neither major party in this country does that any more. I always have voted for the Democrat, mostly as the lesser of two evils – but I don’t blame third party candidates for the lack of success weak Democrat candidates enjoy.

    • safari

I’ll take the Green Party seriously when they have a two-dozen state-level representatives. As of now they have no power to speak of, so yes, you are throwing your vote away since they have absolutely no impact or means of making any sans populism — and we see where that is getting 45*.

    • JWC

has it never seemed odd that the DNC fielded 2 candidates when thr GOP had what was is 13?

      • Ross

        The DNC fielded FIVE candidates.

        Three dropped out early.

        • JWC

          Ok but why the difference

          • Lazycrockett

Usually the party that lost the previous election has more candidates cause of the in fighting and blame game. 2020 will be full of dems running in the primary.

          • Ross

            Huh?

Five qualified people ran on the D ticket.

A bunch of unqualified people ran on the R ticket, with but one or two being qualified.

          • Gerry Fisher

Because, unless you’re a Republican grifter who wants to create and sell mailing lists as a way to make money after the primaries, you don’t waste time running against someone who is a huge, prohibitive favorite. (That turned out not to be 100% accurate, but that was the conventional wisdom in ’15.)

        • Gerry Fisher

Five, right? Webb, O’Malley (woof!), and Chaffee plus the two who ran the tight race.

          • danolgb

There really was no tight race. Bernie should have dropped out in April. It was never really close.

      • abqdan

The DNC didn’t want multiple candidates. They had for years believed this was “Hilary’s turn” at the White House. That’s part of the problem with our politics.

        • safari

That’s funny. I seem to remember an elderly Jewish man almost winning.

          • abqdan

But that was despite the best efforts of the DNC, not because of them.

          • safari

Bernie could have run as an independent, instead he decided to use the DNC as a vehicle. That’s fine. But you seem to be dismissing the rest of the democratic party who wanted to see a Hillary nomination. It’s not all about Bernie or his supporters.

          • abqdan

I doubt Bernie would have won either. The Republicans had a huge bundle of research on him just waiting for him to win the nomination. I’m just saying that you can’t blame the existence of third parties, or people that vote for them, for the failure of candidates in either of the main parties to win votes. That’s down to their campaigns and actions. We need some new progressive blood in the party – and I hope we find that before 2020.

          • safari

Our system makes any lasting third party very unlikely. If you want to change a major party, the best course of action is to join it at the local level and start pulling the levers. Heck, even if you want to make a new party to replace a major party, the local level is where to start.

          • abqdan

I agree in principle. But there are other things we can do too. The National Popular Vote is one such project. A system of proportional representation is another. Reform is going to be very difficult, but we need to work toward it, because the two parties, and the current electoral system, is incapable of representing Americans appropriately.

          • safari

            I agree completely.

Only trolls refer to democratic candidates as democrat candidates and claim both parties are the same.

        • Ross

You wrote: “The DNC didn’t want multiple candidates.”

          Really?

Then why did FIVE candidates run on the D ticket?

        • Gerry Fisher

The DNC did not prevent candidates from running.

        • Tomcat

Gee Wasn’t the GOP cry, it’s threepete time.

        • Tread

          Bullshit.

      • Lazycrockett
        • Ross

          The DNC had FIVE.

          • Lazycrockett

Actually 6 if you count Lessig.

          • Claude Jacques Bonhomme

The other two didn’t survive the first debate: Beaker and Oscar the Grouch.

        • Hank

I thought he would have made a good VP, at least. My next up for President is Sen. Martin Heinrich of NM!!!

          • Lazycrockett

Martin was fine and a good candidate he just didn’t get the oxygen needed. The media wanted a Bernie/Hillary race.

          • Hank

Agreed! I lived in DC, when he was Gov. of Maryland. He did good work there, and would have made a qualified Prez. He was completely squeezed out.

        • Tread

Is that at Pier Dance? Hey daddy!

      • Tomcat

And the DNC SHOULD have ONLY fielded the one that was a Democrat.

        • JWC

one still thinks he is running

    • Boreal

“but I don’t blame third party candidates for the lack of success weak D̶e̶m̶o̶c̶r̶a̶t̶ Democratic candidates enjoy.”

      • Gerry Fisher

Use of that word gives away Republican trolls, doesn’t it?

        • Stephen Elliot Phillips

Yeah and this one speaks pretty good english for a russian

    • Xiao Ai: The Social Gadfly

“I always have voted for the Democrat, mostly as the lesser of two evils – but I don’t blame third party candidates for the lack of success weak Democrat candidates enjoy.”

Sure you did Mr Bannon. 😉

    • Gerry Fisher

I don’t object to her running against the Democratic candidate. I object to *how* she ran against Hillary which coincidentally dovetailed beautifully with Putin’s objectives. If there was any collusion in any way, I hope to see this traitor wearing orange.

    • BobSF_94117

That would be true if there really were such a thing as the Green Party. Where are the Green legislators? The Green mayors? The Green school board presidents? The Green dog catchers?

      • Boreal

But if only we’d vote for their loony presidential candidates first and them they could build local infrastructure.

    • Tread

Fuck right the fuck off with your “two evils” bullshit. If you truly think the Democrats are “just as bad,” you’re a useless tool of obstructionist politics.

  • WiscoJoe

Just curious, but how does Stein explain the election struggles of the Green Party?

    • safari

      Vaccinations.

  • Gerry Fisher

WHY WERE YOU AT THAT DINNER? It was a goal of Putin and his trolls to get liberals to fight among each other as a way to undermine his hated Hillary Clinton…WERE YOU PAID OR OTHERWISE PROMISED FAVORS BY PUTIN OR HIS MINIONS TO RUN HARD AGAINST HILLARY?

  • David L. Caster

What kind of rub would you use on a Jill Stein before grilling?

    • Treant

Ha! Trick question! A Jill Stein is inedible and if you attempted to consume one, it would choke you going down.

    • Claude Jacques Bonhomme

Actually, you’d have to marinate her in a vat of Pineapple juice. Pineapple juice has enzymes that tenderize even the toughest meatheads, rendering them more digestible. She’d drown in the process, but, eh!, c’est la vie!

    • Boreal

Bleach before grilling to feed to the hogs.

      • Claude Jacques Bonhomme

        Poor hogs.

    • Acronym Jim

It’s rather pointless to grill crocks. All you get is frustration and all they get is heated up.

they drag hillary into an investigation at their own peril. I think that would be the last straw on our side for a full out revolt

    • His HolyShit, the Donald

Actually, the Republicuunts are still investigating her. Not even sure for what but she’s definitely under investigation.

      • HZ81

There is chatter they’re going to continue investigating her emails because…yes.

        • Tomcat

Wouldn’t surprise me if they investigated her TWEETS.

      • JT

She’s under investigation by Rethugs for really having won the election. They want to make sure that never gets out.

      • boatboy_srq

HRC’s ghost will be responsible for some unmentionable death or drug epidemic or natural disaster 200 years from now.

The Teahad is the same group that doesn’t really like Lincoln (he freed all of Those People™ donchano), and advocates for Loyalist policies while preaching Revolution. Personal growth isn’t in their makeup.

  • JT

That stupid, immoral bitch should be raked over the coals.

  • Tomcat

Nice try Jill, you vile bitch.

    • Tread

You can’t spell “vile” without the letters E-V-I-L.

  • DreadPikathulhu

It’s like they’re all reading from the same script.

    • Stephen Elliot Phillips

yeah the movie script is called
“How to fuck up a country in 5 easy steps”

  • Robert Flanagan

Dreaming that you would fly, Jill, doesn’t mean that you will fly.

    • Tomcat

But we won’t stop you from jumping off a building if you want to try.

  • His HolyShit, the Donald

Maybe it’s just me but the media, mostly “lefties,” have been very easy on Jill Stein for fear of “misogyny”

However, they wouldn’t care less that Hillary is a woman.

  • His HolyShit, the Donald

“I have not seen that WaPo article”

Why the fuuuuck did she agree to the interview & why didnt’ they press her more?

    • Joe in PA

Or fucking READ IT TO HER.

  • Nick in Pasadena

I’m usually pretty good at resisting conspiracy theories, but there are so many coincidences and suspicious Russian connections surrounding this last election, among so many of the players, that it’s becoming a case of not seeing what is right before your eyes.

    • Stephen Elliot Phillips

sherlock holmes said, if you want to hide something, leave it out in broad daylight. Im paraphrasing but basically all the evidence is right there infront of our eyes. The powers that be (repuglican) refuse to do anything about it and most of the public is uninformed, down-right stupid, doesnt care, or is a nazi.

      • TampaDink

True. The fact that the administration & plenty of other repuglicans want to drop the subject proves that they do not mind if foreign govts. continue to disrupt our elections.

I wish, just once, that Watson would have replied, “no shit, Sherlock.”

    • canoebum

Well, it wasn’t really an election; it was a coup d’etat. We’ve been taken over by a foreign, hostile power.

  • clay

She’s an outstanding example of an “unwitting co-conspirator”.

    • Tomcat

      Not so sure about UNWITTING!

      • clay

I don’t think Putin would trust her any further than he could throw her.

        • tbj5

Doesn’t mean she wasn’t assisted by online Russian trolls posing as a swell of grassroots support.

Even Bernie doesn’t smell that good when you look at who his campaign manager was.

          • clay

Oh yes, but that doesn’t mean she was in on the planning.

    • JT

      Witless co-conspirator.

      • Tomcat

I think you are giving her too much credit for being used by the GOP. She is not as dumb as she comes across here.

      • Todd20036

        Nit wit co-conspirator.

        Half wit co-conspirator

    • Tread

Putin sees her as a useful idiot.

    • AngelaChanning

It would crack me up if she became a target of the Special Counsel.

    • Cattleya1

I think she knows exactly what she is doing – she sold out.

  • His HolyShit, the Donald

This schit drives me nuts. The “Green” party might not vote for Hillary but they sure as hell wouldn’t have voted for the climate change denier Trump. Where the F did she get the numbers? From the voices in her head?

    • David Walker

Considering she’s an anti-vax doctor, her head is probably the only information source she believes.

    • tbj5

She’s gaslighting and lying. It was disgusting to listen to that being unchecked.

Media needs to *finally* realize that it can’t care about there being two fair sides that deserve equal time if one “side” is actively and maliciously lying.

      • His HolyShit, the Donald

And since you can’t stop the liars from lying, you either lie better or just shut them up.

  • BobSF_94117

I can’t bear to listen to it. Did they ask her if she had any funding from Putin or any Russians/Ukrainian “businessmen”?

    • Stephen Elliot Phillips

did they ask her where all those recount donations went?
Tune in next week for all the answers on
“as this fucked up country burns”

  • JT

Will that fucking bitch now acknowledge that things would be better with Hillary as President?

    • Boreal

      Nope.

      • JT

That indicates beyond doubt that she is a Drumpf enabler. That’s all you need to know to establish her blame.

        • Boreal

The rubes that voted for her still think their revolution will come, carried out by a Green partier riding a unicorn when in fact they have moved us much closer to a theocratic oligarchy.

          • JT

Those assholes will be to blame for all the deaths that occur as a result of taking people’s health care away and giving more money to the rich.

          • Boreal

            Like trumpanzees, they don’t care.

          • The rubes who voted for her are worried about Chemtrails, too busy paying off their medical bills for having their non inoculated children getting measles, and are still looking at how homeopathy can help treat autism.

          • Stephen Elliot Phillips

The rubes dont know shit about chess.

      • His HolyShit, the Donald

The educated and articulate Cornell West still said last month Hillary would’ve been just as bad.

I do think Jill’s just lying to make a buck, like Carly Fiorina, but NOT Cornell West on this topic.

        • Boreal

I think Cornell West is full of shit. Hillary would have been a 1000 times better than what we have now.

          • His HolyShit, the Donald

He seemed quite sincere to me, though. Which is why it’s so scary.

Hired liars like Kellyanne actually do much less damage because she stops talking when the paychecks stop. The Cornell Wests of the world just keep on going.

          • Boreal

He’s quite sincere but deluded. He thinks holding out for a purity candidate will bring all his goals to fruition but fails to realize that all progress is incremental.

          • Stephen Elliot Phillips

Cornell has failed to realize all progress has now completely stopped. In fact we are being pulled back to approx 1890

          • Boreal

Wait until we get to 1860, he wont be happy.

          • boatboy_srq

Ronald Reagan in his present state would be 100 times better than we have now. I can’t believe HRC would only be 10x better than that.

        • JT

That his usual nonsense. Cornel West went off the deep end quite some time ago. His Ivory Tower protects him from the terrible harm that will come to others under the Drumpf regime.

          • His HolyShit, the Donald

Thanks for the info. I always try to take a moment to re-evaluate my view when folks with impressive credentials like Cornel seem sincerely believe in sth totally opposite.

O/T : Bill is so mofo dead on about so many things. I’m now a hardcore Buddhist worshiping a hardcore atheist LOL

  • tbj5

Look at how many easily checkable lies he let the gaslighting asshole get away with.

She knows what she did. And she did it for money. Maybe she’s that demented that she actually thinks she’s some hero in all of this. Stein is still Putin’s paid actress either way.

Those fucks at CNN are playing the public like fiddles. Look just enough like you’re “against” Trump to keep the liberals watching but go easy on and keep the collaborators and enablers of Trump on the air. Fuck CNN.

    • Stephen Elliot Phillips

gonna be a while before the revolution train leaves the station. Not enuf pain yet. Just disgruntled liberals.
Im not sure if there ever will be a revolution. We dont have the armed forces on our side. The right could squash us like ants.

She needs to be investigated too, there’s no fucking way that she just happened to be seated with both Putin and Flynn by pure coincidence.

    • Ross

I second your no fucking way.

    • OdieDenCO

oh come on now. she’s an idiot. she had no idea what city she was in or who those people were nor what they were doing in her dining room /s

      • canoebum

Please don’t give her a pass. She knew exactly what she was doing.

        • OdieDenCO

perhaps you missed the /s at the end of the comment. I have no doubt she was there for the same reason flynn was. the snark was in reference to her flying to the wrong city to attend one of her rallies during the campaign.

          • canoebum

I did miss it. Glad we’re basically on the same page about this (yet another) traitor.

      • TampaDink

I do recall that during the campaign she was late for a rally in Columbus because she flew to Cincinnati by mistake. So maybe she wound up at a banquet in Moscow because she was attempting to get to a bank in Miami.

        • Strepsi

          St Petersburg, FL?

          • TampaDink

Only if she planned (another) trip to St. Petersburg, Russia.

    • Carl

This is the same question I go back to with Trump over and over again. Are they actually agents of a foreign power or just useful stooges of a foreign power. Is there a meaningful difference?

      • MonochromeMouse

My guess with trump (small t to match his tiny hands) is that it’s a little of both. He knew he had no chance at winning in a fair election, and he didn’t want to be president anyway but he really didn’t want to lose to Hillary Clinton. So Putin told him he knows people who can help make him look better and that if he just listened to them and hired whoever and did whatever they told him to then he would win for sure and be beloved by the people, so trump said yes without even thinking about the consequences. Stein I think just hated Hillary and was offered a bunch of money by Putin to help spread propaganda against her.

      • I think the term is “useful idiots.”

Why does the media keep giving these Commie sympathizers a platform?

Sidebar story: California Democrats are going to have someone else to throw blame at. The single-payer bill, SB 562, appears to be dead in the Assembly as of Friday.

    http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/California-shelves-single-payer-health-bill-11243739.php

This bill was a reason for a lot of disruptions and demonstrations during the state party convention in May.

  • david fairfield

So this makes total sense. Because the fact is she DID steal votes from Hillary, and it is logical that Putin encouraged her to run, dangled some sort of carrot in front of her. I want to know more about this meeting. All bets are off, folks…those who argued that there was NO WAY Putin accessed our voting systems I’d like to know what you have to say now, given the plethora of news that was released yesterday. I kept saying after the election that there would be no way for us to know the extent their of cyber attack, and I was always shot down with “no way they got into our systems” but they did. And now this!! And Stein, not being the brightest. bulb, thought nothing of her “dinner” with our number one enemy, but I guarantee she either gave information or was encouraged to take votes from Hillary. It will come out, and I await the answer……

    • canoebum

39 states and counting. Time to back to paper ballots, and paper voters rolls. They worked for 200 years, they can work now.

  • andrew

The answer to that question is YES!

  • Jill Stein and her Green Party have not finished helping the right-wing Republican Party and Vladimir Putin. You can be sure that centrist Democrats running for reelection to the Senate in 2018 from Missouri, West Virginia, Florida, Montana, Ohio, and Indiana, and Democratic challengers to sitting Republicans in Arizona, Nevada, and Texas, are going to have Green Party challengers to ensure the Senate remains in Republican hands. Russian and right-wing money flowing to these Green Party candidates can be hidden — and will be highly influential in swinging the Senate to Mitch McConnell’s control. Think about this when you worry about seeing Medicaid for the most vulnerable going down in flames next week — so rich people like Jill Stein get their tax breaks.

    • TampaDink

Not only that, but without the investigation continuing, Russia & other interested parties will still be hacking our electoral process.

  • Jean-Marc in Canada

She’s a Russian operative and it’s time the press introduce her as such. Why the deference? The woman just lied to his face and he just nodded like a trained seal. How much more can the American media debase itself with this facade of still being journalism? To use a term oft used by 45, SAD.

  • juanjo54

This is the woman who during the election stated in an interview that she had no issue with Trump winning at all. Her belief is that he will be so right wing that all the Democrats and independent liberals will abandon the Democratic Party and joint the “progressives” in the Green Party whop will then lead us into the worker’s paradise. There is no small number of her followers who believe the same. It is totally delusional thinking.

  • Mark

    Own it honey.

  • Richard B

So I follow Dr. Jill Stein’s explanation why she was at the RT conference, but exactly why did Jill Stein chose to have a dinner seated at the same table with Vladamir Putin and General Flynn?
The optics are disturbing, but when confronted she deflects.
There is no doubt Vladamir Putin masterfully manipulated our election process and part of his plan was to leverage Dr. Stein’s hatred of Hillary to lead her to make judgement, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
I hope this is the last we see of the weak minded Dr. Jill Stein.

  • Michael

She so handed Mike’s ass to him.

Stein deserves death in a ditch, and that death needs to be one against which there’s an available vaccine…
