TODAY: Twelve Years Of JMG

Today is the twelfth blogiversary of this here website thingy. As is tradition for today, here is my very first post.

April 29th, 2004

I was born and raised in rural North Carolina.

My fondest childhood memory is of playing in the dense, acrid, poison fog that was belched out by the county mosquito control truck during its daily dusk-time trip down our dirt road.

The cry of “Smokey! Smokey!” would fly up and down Nine Foot Road once the first faint sound of the pest control truck’s generator was detected in the distance. Trailer screen doors would slam open and kids would pour into the street for ten minutes of gleeful, giddy, mad dashing around in the thick white clouds of DDT. We would smash into each other with full force in the blinding swirls and just scream and laugh hysterically, pick ourselves up and start running again. Parents had not a whit of concern about their children playing directly behind the spewing pipes of a pest control truck. In fact, NOT being allowed to play in the poison fog was often held out as potential punishment for misbehavior.

I think this explains a lot about me.

Counting this one, we’re at 58,621 posts over twelve years, the last eight of which have been without a day off. Whether I am insanely committed or am insane and should be committed – that is your call. I very much appreciate all of you being here for these last twelve years. Help yourself to some well-deserved punch and cookies. Please don’t let the cat out. And onward to JMG year thirteen.

Me too. Usually the first place I go.

    • kaydenpat

Me too. I actually get my news from this website (along with a few others). It has been great. I believe I discovered it via Andrew Sullivan’s blog.

    • medaka

Yes several times a day here too, for the last 10 years. Congratulations Joe!!

  • Keiffer

So you were the first Liberal Redneck that’s been spotted around here?

    • LovesIrony

      hot, you left out hot.

    • 2karmanot

Remember Joe Bagent……like Joe he was one of a kind.

  • MB

Congrats on 12 years, Joe !!! This here blog thingy is a valuable resource for all of us and a way to keep in touch with our serious, and not so serious sides.
    Keep on, keeping on.

    ~ Mark in Albuquerque

  • MaryOGrady

Congratulations, and thank you and the habitual commenters here for all the fabulousness you bring into my life.

    • 2karmanot

That is so true….the wit, the fun, the irony often takes the sting out of a terrible day. YES!

  • CPT_Doom

    Congratulations on the blogbirthday/blogiversary.

  • Sashineb

Thank you, Joe, and best wishes to you.

  • Derrick Johns

took me a long time to discover Joe My God, but I’m glad I did. Towleroad caused me to lose my hair. I’m at peace here.
Thanks for such an informational blog.

  • Dave in Boston

May the FSM bless your every endeavor, and thanks for being out there and you being you.

  • SLK in SF

Kudos on your continuing (and well deserved) success!

  • Dramphooey

Congratulations! I would guess almost every one of the blogs that started the same year are gone without a trace.

  • Lakeview Bob

What an achievement. I hope you have dozens of more years. I check you blog at least a dozen times a day. I am committed to our friend JOE!

  • Bernie Keefe

    Happy Anniversary my Captain!

  • Brian in Valdosta

Well joe my goodness, I can’t believe it’s been that long.
Huzzah, mazel tov, and all that!!

  • Joe knows who I am.

Have those cookies been anywhere near the DDT?

    • Ragnar Lothbrok

All I care is that weren’t made by THAT BITCH Melissa

      • Lumpy Gaga

Or her “husband” with the filthy hands.

  • Treant

    Wow, congratulations!

The blog is almost old enough to get married in NC at this point.

    • Gene

does it have a cousin blog? towelroad perhaps?

but, that would be an icky “queen marriage” so the governor would frown on it

  • LovesIrony

Thanks Joe for all these years of important work that you do so well. Turn the music up I want to dance with my baby.

  • Tim in Big D

    Happy Happy, Joe!
Thank you so much for all you do! Xox

  • Larry Gist

We ALL love you for what you do! When are you coming to Indy for a JMG meet-up?

    • Steve Teeter

Come to New Orleans! It’s a fun place, and I’ll bet a lot of people would travel to join in! Maybe we could do it at the Lafitte in Exile, the oldest continuously operating gay bar in the country. Which probably means the world. Think about it!

  • Hue-Man

    12th Anniversary – Silk/Linen (Traditional)
    Pearls (Modern)

    Both seem appropriate!

  • David Walker

Oh frabjous day! Calloo! Callay! Oh bliss, oh rapture! Oh rapture, oh bliss! Congratulations. And take a day off, please! I’d much rather do without you for a day than for weeks on end while you recuperate. I know Shelley would be happy to fill in.

I so appreciate your commitment to the tribe. I love learning, and I’ve learned so much here. I’m an incurably shy person, but I am completely comfortable taking part here. You’ve created the greatest gay bar/disco/community center the world has ever known. Thank you, Joe. You and JMG are a treasure.

    • 2karmanot

      Exactly so!

    • Jamie Brewer

You are speaking for many here…

  • Jerry Hinnant

Hey Joe what part of rural North Carolina? I was raised in rural NC also. Grew up on a tobacco farm just east of Raleigh near I 95.

    • coram nobis

There’s a Nine Foot Road near Cherry Point, maybe that’s what he meant, esp. as Cherry Point is in swampy area. As someone who used to visit the Oriental/Minnesott Beach area, it rings a bell.

    • JoeMyGod

I was born at Cherry Point USMC and we lived in Newport, which as you can see is surrounded by Croatan National Forest. Kinda the definition of “the middle of nowhere.”

      • JoeMyGod

Croatan National Forest is 250 square miles of mostly swamp.

        • David Milley

          • Gustav2

            Hence the poisonous fog.

          • David Milley

Oh yeah, it’s coming back to me now … outside of Orangeburg, we had crop dusters laying down the DDT …

      • MB

I was born and grew up in the middle of the Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania, town had a population of 450. I miss those office-building-sized boulders scattered throughout the forest. We used to climb and swing off the vines that grew on them. The forest was a literal fantasy playground for this wee gayling.

      • Jerry Hinnant

Cool. Been through there many times on the way to Atlantic Beach and Imerald Isle. Even played softball there back in my younger days during weekend tournaments.

      • Capritaur

        Bear paw lakes!

  • Congratulations!

  • MichaelJ

Congratulations, and thanks for all your work over the years.

  • Ragnar Lothbrok

Yay !! 13 !! You are now in puberty – we will have to have ” the talk ” soon.

    • DaddyRay

      Those troublesome teen years

      • it wasn’t so troublesome. i was *THRILLED* i had found a brand new toy that didn’t cost any extra money…

        • oikos

I hope you share your toy.

          • i, see, uh, hey look! a cockie. cookie! i meant cookie.

    • Gyeo

What’s the gay version of the Birds and Bees?

    • Jerry There’s a youtube video for that…

      • Steve Teeter

How can a PSA about boys growing up and hitting puberty mention spontaneous erections and NOT mention what you do with them. As in, “Go ahead and jack off, kid. All you want. I did, and it didn’t hurt me, and it won’t hurt you. And you’re not going to hell for it. Trust me.”

        What a missed opportunity.

  • rabbit_ears

Happy 12th Joe! Thanks for creating this blog and giving all of us miscreants a place to hang out and poke fun at the world. Cheers!

  • Lane

    Mazel tov, Joe!

  • 2karmanot

WOW Time goes fast! Congrats….. I don’t know what we’d do without you. Thanks for all the hard work, hard hitting journalism and excellent/creative posts!
note: I have switched over from America B, because of the increasingly partisan and PC hysteria over the Hillary. I never find that here and appreciate the diversity that appears here. Excellent work Joe and staff.

Happy blogaverary Joe. My absolutely favorite blog on the Internet.

  • Richie Kau

Congratulations, Joe. You are my daily go-to and I really appreciate your dedication to getting news out to us in such timely and cogent manner. You totally rock!

  • TuuxKabin

LOVE my JOE MY GOD! Just been with you the last few years and appreciate my day all the more for you! MWAH.

    • coram nobis

He has also drawn a community, and that says something good about him as well.

      • TuuxKabin

And you’re part of that draw! Comments and avatar. Succinct with a decent slant to humor.

      • KCMC

one of thee saving life lines to the outside world and connection to community I like to hang out with. Virtually.

  • Gene

10,000 thanks! You provide news for us in the west…you provide news and HOPE for many readers in other parts of the world, and, made a place where a community could grow.

    thank you Joe

  • jo gerardo

I’ll have Space Brownies and coffee for lunch to celebrate. Like I need a reason.

  • Seumas MacTaigue

Congratulations on your twelve year anniversary! A job well done!

  • The Sentinel

  • oikos

Thanks for all of your hard work, Joe!

  • i look forward to your next blogimage hat, Joe. i have one just like yours, but i also have some others that i could see you in. take it from me, blogger of olde: hats make the blog. i say you take a pic with a new hat every year, just for freshness. 😉

to all the rest of you loosers and fogies i say: thank you. i’ve really needed this place lately b/c reasons. and you’ve all been so here for me/each other/distraction. i thank you for it as much as i thank joe for tolerating your stanky, self absorbed, out of date white asses. (more silly emoticons)

    • TuuxKabin

      Kudos cd!

    • Mark

that is the nicest thing anybody has ever said about my ass. It would be so nice to have one…..

  • Gustav2

An amazing accomplishment for a 25 year old.

  • Steverino

Congratulations to Joe for the excellent work that is always due, but never done, and apologies to my darling hubby for making him a JMG widower for the past five and a half years (makes me still a relative newcomer compared to many of the readers here).

Reminds me that the avatar I use is from the commencement ceremony for taking my masters degree exactly one month after this here website thingy came into existence. Probably past time for an update after 12 years…
    : )

    • bzrd

Congratulations Steverino, keep the avatar since it’s a wonderful reminder of all the hard work you put in to getting a masters. Plus, I suffer from old timers so if there’s a new one, I won’t know who you are.

      • Steverino

I am the same way- usually associate the avatar with the name and personality of the reader posting the comment, so when it gets changed, I get confused, too.

  • Boycott NC

    Happy Birthday! JMG!

  • Robincho

For he’s a jolly good fellow, and so say ALL of us! Happy homo huggles, sweet Joe, and many dozens more for you!…

  • Anastasia Beaverhousen

I will raise a glass to you later tonight. Congratulations! Who the hell am I kidding? I have a bottle open right now! Cheers!

  • HZ81

Yay! Happy Bday/Congrats—all that shit, Joe! Thank you so much for your wonderful blog and work. So, so much.

  • Hank

Congrats, Joe! Between YOU and the NYTimes, I get ALL the News, thats FIT to Print…. and occasionally on here, some News that is NOT Fit to Print…. however I love it!!!

    • Gustav2

Sure, sure, we know you cheat and take a peek at the WSJ.

      • Hank

Got to know, what the “competition?Rethuglicans” are thinking!!! 😉

        • TuuxKabin

more like plotting than thinking, no?

    • coram nobis

      “Had heebie-jeebies for Beebe’s bathysphere —
I got through Sarah Palin, and I’m here!”

  • Happy Blogversary Joe! I rented a stripper to celebrate! He will be at your door at 6:00 PM tonight.

    • TuuxKabin

Uh, Joe won’t be home. Send him over here, then Joe, come by here after.

      • You can have this one then. How will he do?

        • TuuxKabin

Oh, we’ll wait ’til Joe can get over here. Have a bit of ‘Dress Rehearsal Rag’.

          • coram nobis

How about a visit from Mr. Sulu?

          • TuuxKabin

Very doable. I maybe the only Flying Monkey who never watched StarTrek, but I learned thru osmosis.

          • coram nobis

Now you know why he had that cachet all those years.

          • TuuxKabin

            Definitely! Caught me!

          • KCMC

        • TuuxKabin

Fine, fine, real good. Thank you for arranging it.

        • Acronym Jim

Based on those moves, I’m sure he “does” very, very well.

      • John P.

        That’s Matt Bomer. I am afraid he’s taken ;-(

        • TuuxKabin

Ok, then the other Joe. El husbian’s avatar is: 2guysnamedjoe, that’s us. Our fathers’ were Joes as well. The more Joes the better.

    • Oscarlating Wildely

….Mother Mary, bring me smelling salts– I feel a case of the vapors coming on…..

  • D. J.

Thank you So much Joe. I’ve been reading you daily for over a decade. We are from similar backgrounds and have lived in many of the same places. I felt kinship the moment I found your blog.

  • bdsmjack

    Happy Blogiverary, Joe!

  • Mark McGovern

Thanks so much for what you do. This site has been a great source of news for me, and I start every day of my life reading these posts and comments.

  • customartist

    Congrats Joe.
    You’re “too legit to quit”

    Thank You.

  • coram nobis

This deserves the Birthday Ode, the most glorious of them all, so: “Eternal source of light divine with double warmth thy beams display and with distinguish’d glory shine to add a lustre to this day.”

    • coram nobis

Addendum: A little background on this piece, if you can Handel it. It has just passed its 400th anniversary, and was dedicated to a Queen, so …

      • I’ve not heard that before. Just beautiful.

        • coram nobis

“Eternal source of light divine” is the first movement of the cantata, and all of it is worthwhile, very good Handel choral music.

    • KCMC

      divinely gorgeous.

  • MikeBx2

Congratulations. So grateful for your blog.

  • PickyPecker
    • TuuxKabin

You’re one of the best with those. Like looking forward to JMG everyday, your gifs are a joy.

  • AW

Congratulations! You run an important site for our movement and provide an incredible service. My life and my understanding have been greatly enriched by you and your tireless reporting. Thank you.

    • This is the comment I’d have left if I was so articulate. Thanks Joe!

      • AW

I’m rarely called articulate… so thank you!

  • Nychta

Thank you, Joe, and congratulations on your anniversary. I’m addicted to your blog like no other.

  • Larry Larson

    Congratulations and THANK YOU, Joe!
Wish I could remember what year I discovered this treasure trove. Can’t imagine what I’d do without a daily dose of JMG, and the commentary of all you fine flying monkeys.

  • kudos and we love you!

  • Ernest Endevor

    Woo hoo!

  • That_Looks_Delicious

Twelve already? You don’t look a day over 11. Congrats, Joe. Keep up the good work.

    • Lumpy Gaga

      Father T.!!!

  • Skokieguy [Larry]

Have to join the chorus of well deserved praise. Your site is a daily multiple times a day read for me.

You’ve shined light into some very dark places. You also have attracted an amazing community of followers who by in large engage in intelligent discourse (okay, the witty repartee is pretty awesome too).

You are a community treasure. More Webby’s and accolades are well deserved.

  • KQCA

In lieu of the trite and dull birthday song or anniversary waltz, I’ll send this one out to Joe and all the JMGers!

    • TuuxKabin

Was that the song she started when a thunderstorm crashed her concert in Central Park?

    • KCMC

Lawd. 1979. Was my coming out.

  • Dave

    You are a treasure!

    • Dave

…and might I add: thank you for wading through shit to give us the stories we need to know.

  • Dave S.

Your website is what I check first, last and all through the day. THANKS and many congratulations!!

  • Gyeo

Keep up the good fight, Joe. Honestly when I come on here sometimes, I think “what at asinine assholes are trying to fuck up the world today”, but without people like you calling these people out the general public wouldn’t be aware of them.

  • Yalma Cuder-Zicci

    Felicidades, Joe.

  • ByronK

A big congratulations to you Joe. Happy anniversary. You provide such a great forum for (mostly) wonderful people to discuss, laugh, and share their anger, frustration, pride and love. Well done man.

I’ve consulted Emily Post and discovered that silk is the proper gift for a 12th anniversary

  • JerrelT

  • kirtanloorii

Congratulations! I look forward to another great year of progress and sadz articles!

  • Ryan Hunter

Speaking of the mosquito control truck, my spouse has repeated the same story for years as to how he would do the same thing as a youngster but in Riverdale, California, a rural community near Fresno.

  • StraightGrandmother

8 years non stop, man that is some accomplishment.
I have been coming here a few years now and I can’t remember the last time a day went by that I didn’t check Joe My God. If I’m really busy I may just read the articles and some of the comments and skip leaving a comment, but I can’t remember the last day it was that I didn’t check in here at least once.

Props Joe, you can take some time off if you want to though. You will NOT lose us, we’ll just be here waiting for you when you get back. Just leave us an open thread and we can post news in comments and discuss until you get back.

    • TuuxKabin

Right, we can talk among ourselves. Promise, I’ll behave.

      • KCMC

or come sit here with me

        • TuuxKabin

If you got a treat and water dish, scoot over.

          • KCMC

and so more more, scratching furry belly…

    • Ditto. Think I’ve visited JMG almost every day since sometime in 2008, with daily frequency since Pam’s House Blend went down an eon ago.

  • DonnaLee

Thanks for being here for all of us, and I’m personally glad to have the internet back in time to say “Glad to be here!”

  • Michael

Thanks for all your hard work and good humor.

  • Herald

Thank you very, very much for all the hard work that goes into this site. I check several times a day both for the news and the comments. This is my #1 site to check each day.

  • Craig S

Thanks for all that you do Joe. Your site brightens my day and lately my days have needed some brightening. The new, entertainment, insight and community are all greatly appreciated.

  • TuuxKabin

We’re all insanely committed to you!

  • Paula

JMG goes beyond a website that I check frequently. I love coming to and posting at JMG. Its one one of the mist enjoyable activities that I have.

    • TuuxKabin

LIkewise, reading your comments. When’s the trip to Europe? Did you mention Barcelona? The youth of JMG need to know.

      • Paula

316 more days until my trip. Not that I counting… I have never been to Europe and am looking forward to it. I welcome the chance to learn new things. We will be in Barcelona for 3 days. I am excited to see the ocean again. I will get to practice my Mexican Spanish on them 😉

        • TuuxKabin

Barcelona’s a treat. The food, people, architecture, and Spanish is spoken with a Catalan lisp. Plaza = placa. Real = Rieal. Check out Placa Rieal, if you’re there on a Sunday there’s a postage stamp flea market. It’s located off las Ramblas, the promenade, on your left as your walking towards the harbor. We saw Ike &Tina Turner at el Teatro Gaudi and Franco was still alive, that’s how long ago I visited.

          • Paula

Franco was still alive? That was a long time ago..

          • TuuxKabin

        • Hank

          Enjoy Europe and Barcelona….

  • Piet

Thank you, Joe. Thank you, thank you, thank you for what you do and how you do it!

    • vorpal

So thankful for this site and SlowlyBoiledFrog, and all the wonderful people I’ve met through them.

They really are both a highlight of my day and of my life :-).

      • Piet

        Yes indeed!

  • yetanotherLaura

    Happy blogiversary, Joe!

  • BudClark

Being home and wheelchair-bound, you’re my main contact with the outside world, Joe. Thank you for that! I haven’t owned a TV for years … can’t stand the damn things!

Once again, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for taking such GOOD care of our large, noisy, fractious extended family!

LISTEN TO FATHER TONY! *TAKE* a damn day off once in awhile! (chuckle).

BIG hugs and MUCH affection from the California desert!

    • grada3784

TV’s aren’t so bad. Old movies are great. It’s only when they connect to the outside world that they bring in the garbage.

    • abel

Bud is RIGHT. Joe, take some time off occasionally. Give yourself a break from the world of news.

And Bud, TV is for watching old movies and an occasional weather report. I keep wishing my cable company would just let me buy TCM and the Weather Channel and be done with it. The rest of it, no thanks. I live in Houston, so I need the weather news for hurricanes and such. Hugs!

    • Thom Kulesa

I’m in the same boat you are. :/

      Hey, here’s to us. 🙂

  • SoCalGal20

Happy Blogiversay, Joe! I love this place. Thank you for creating it. 🎂🎉🍾

Congrats and here’s to many more! Really appreciate the work that you do!

  • Jean-Marc in Canada

There are too many words I could use to say what I wish to say, but saying something in the simplest way is sometimes the best. So, with that in mind……

  • Happy Anniversary. Congratulations and FUCKDAMN!!!

  • Alan43

    Wow 12 years!

  • Ian

I don’t know how I ended up here. But I’m glad I did, for the past 5 years.

  • Refugay

    Thank you Joe!!!

  • Acronym Jim

    Happy Birthday!

Just a little advice: the blog is going to start growing hair in weird places pretty soon, but that’s O.K. and perfectly natural. It will also be great experience for when the same thing starts happening again when the blog hits middle age.

  • Mike_Bernard

Congratulations, Joe! Thank you for all the great news and timely discussion. Your willingness to be open, brash, and “right out there” gives us all the courage and strength to talk our truth and confront injustices all around us.

If Joe isn’t afraid of the bigoted, religiosity-based bullies, we also can be brave. Huzzah!

  • Secure

Congrats and thanks for all that you do Joe! You rock.

  • Roy Biv

I first visited this site my sophomore year of college in 2009!

  • 1Truth1

Congrats and thanks for all the years of awesome coverage!

This blog is an important part of my life, and I am grateful to you for its continued existence. I’m ancient, and have seen so many changes come to pass, particularly in the last few years, things never dreamed of in my fearful youth. It worries me that younger folks may take these changes for granted, and wind up losing these new freedoms. There is still a very long way to go.

I check this blog about six times a day, on average. I’m too old to care about the music stuff, but otherwise, I read everything. Thanks so much, Joe. I’m a NC brat myself, though I haven’t lived there since I was a baby. Spent a lot of time there in my youth and still visit relatives there. Recent developments have been very disappointing.

Happy Anniversary! Thank you for all you do!

  • Richard, another Canuck

Happy anny Joe. You have definitely impacted my life on a daily basis over the past decade that I have been captivated by your writings, as well as the commenters responses. And I have to say that you have been very responsive to us, your readers. I still rock the T-shirt that you helped me to obtain, and I have yet to serve that smart desert recipe I sent to you for viagra jelly, but glad you liked it!

  • Marides48

I’ve been visiting this JMG for maybe 8 years or so. I first learned about it from listening to M. Signorile on Sirius Out Q. It’s been an ongoing education.
    Thank you Joe.

    • Homo Erectus

Out Q, (sigh) what happened to that after Michelangelo left? I miss it.

  • bambinoitaliano

Thank you Joe for all your hard work!

  • Congrats, Joe, and thank you for hosting such a nice and welcoming place with all kinds of good stuff to read. 🙂

You and most of the commenters here are directly responsible for my continued sanity and equanimity during this current horrific election cycle.

  • KCMC

Congratulations Joe! I was looking at the timeline of marriage equality developments trying to figure out exactly how long I’ve been a follower here. It must have been from nearly the beginning. I thought you had been around even longer. Anyway, thanks for being the bearer of both good and bad news and a lot of good humor along the way. Here’s to many more years to come.

  • Good Shot Green

    It’s my birthday too!

Caught a matinee of Sing Street and tonight I’m going with my hetero life partner to see Everybody Wants Some again. And with Purple Rain playing at the nearest multiplex, it’s an ’80s weekend at the movies.

Everybody Wants Some has some seriously fine-looking, athletic men in half shirts, short shorts and jock straps. Gayest straight movie ever? At least since Val Kilmer played Batman.

  • BearEyes

  • pj

    thanks joe

  • Thank you for all your hard work and for tolerating the crazies like me in the comment section. You truly are a great man.

  • NancyP

Thank you for your daily doses of LGBT and political news, as well as the “Can you believe he SAID that???” howlers. I need a laugh – I head to JMG. The commenters deserve a nod too, for the many funny posts and GIFs.

  • kaydenpat
  • Happy Birthday, Joe!! May your days be long and filled with sunshine.

    • bzrd

      Roger, where are those rocks?

      • I’m sorry, but I have no idea. The person who posted the clip on youtube would have chosen the pictures, and he may be able to tell you. Ask the question in the comments there.

    • billbear1961
      • That is lovely, and beautifully played. I think Joe will enjoy it too.

  • Cattleya1

  • teedofftaxpayer

Thank you for all your hard work. I have this site as a favorite on my Facebook and get all the articles throughout the day.

  • ColdCountry

This has been a daily hang-out for me for about nine of those years. Love you, love the blog, love the community, love Shelly. Than you!

    (Now, take a day off!)

  • Rex

Joe, thank you. I read your blog daily, and some days check it several times. I read for news and humor and you provide both. I’ve been reading for several years and started adding my own, mostly smart ass, comments in the past year or so. It’s really a community of readers. For people like me in rural areas with virtually no gay social outlets it’s one way to connect with like minded men and women. Hope you’ve got many years ahead of you, but good god man, take a day off- we understand, just warn us first.

  • Yanz BC

Reading your blog never fails to make my day. Even during dark ones. Thank you for writing.

  • Thank you, Joe! Happy 12th blogiversary and many more!!

Congratulations Joe! 12 years, wow! Your site is my go to site for all things political on the American scene. As a Canadian, it still astounds me what you have to put with for a political process 🙁

  • Steve Teeter

Congratulations, Joe! Like so many others are saying. your place is the first place I go at the start of the day. Sometimes I never get around to going anywhere else! And yes, take care of yourself, Joe. If you were to burn out we would all burn out with you.
