Testing Czar: Time To “Move On” From Drug Promoted By Trump’s Demon Semen Doc, No Evidence It Works

Business Insider reports:

The White House coronavirus testing czar said Sunday it was time to “move on” from the discussions surrounding hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus days after President Donald Trump again defended the drug.

“There may be circumstances — I don’t know what they are — where a physician may prescribe it for an individual, but I think most physicians and prescribers are evidence-based and they’re not influenced by whatever is on Twitter or anything else,” Brett P. Giroir told NBC’s Chuck Todd on Sunday.

He added: “And the evidence just doesn’t show that Hydroxychloroquine is effective, for now. I think we need to move on from that and talk about what is effective.”
