Mace Suggests Fox Host Trey Gowdy Is Transgender

Mediaite reports:

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) suggested that Fox News’ Trey Gowdy, himself a former Republican congressman from the Palmetto State, was transgender in a tweet just after the clock struck midnight on Friday.

Mace’s outburst followed an appearance by Gowdy on his home network in which he mused that the chaos surrounding the ongoing government shutdown fight is not “Mike Johnson’s fault” because “he’s got a dysfunctional family.”

“Mike Johnson is not dysfunctional, but several of his family members happen to be,” said Gowdy, referring to the GOP conference in the House. Mace posted an old picture of Gowdy and asked “Which bathroom do we think Trey Gowdy uses?”
