Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones tried to explain what he meant after releasing a viral meme on social media claiming he would “eat your leftist ass.” On Wednesday, Jones posted a picture of himself staring toward the camera with the quote, “I will eat your leftist ass.” The InfoWars host did not add any context to the post.
“The left has misunderstood what my intention was in posting this meme. I am [talking] about the road warrior collapse that has already begun because of the policy’s of The Great Reset,” Jones wrote to his millions of followers on X.
Jones claimed the policies of the Great Reset, an economy recovery plan designed by the World Economic amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, would lead to worldwide starvation.

You will recall that Jones first made his “I’ll eat your ass” declaration in 2020, which immediately led to the mocking remix seen below.
As for yesterday’s tweet, I was among the thousands who interpreted his message as a reference to something besides cannibalism.
