Donald Trump Jr. claimed video of a woman allegedly trying to burn down Martin Luther King Jr.’s birth home in Atlanta, GA, was just a ploy to get more people to “vote Democrat.”
The former president’s son retweeted the video showing a woman using a red canister to splash liquid around the structure and foliage. She also reportedly carried a lighter. But Don Jr. wasn’t falling for it, despite the official word from Atlanta police.
This isn’t Don Jr.’s first ride at the conspiracy theory rodeo. Some past favorites include spreading COVID-19 misinformation, “liking” Alex Jones’ patently false tweets about the Parkland shooting, and making up stories about Chinese spy balloons.
