No Labels To Hold Nominating Convention In April

The Hill reports:

Former Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) said Sunday that the political organization No Labels is scheduled to hold its nominating convention in Dallas next April.

Lieberman, the founding chairman of No Labels, told host Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday” that the organization will only pursue its bipartisan ticket if the third party had a shot at winning the election. He said that the group’s goal is to get on the ballot in all 50 states to offer a “unity ticket.”

“Think about it. We haven’t seen that ever in recent history. A bipartisan nominating convention for Dallas, Texas in April of next year,” he added. Lieberman reiterated that polls show that voters want an alternative to President Biden and former President Trump, who are the frontrunners for the 2024 election.
