NBC News reports:
In an interview on “Meet the Press,” Trump lawyer James Trusty was asked by NBC News’ Chuck Todd whether he can be certain there are no classified documents or copies of documents left in Mar-a-Lago following reports that Trump’s legal team turned over additional materials as well as a laptop to investigators.
“Yeah, sure,” Trusty responded. “And I can tell you the leak about what happened with this additional document or several documents that were found in the thumb drive is absurd.”
“It’s been the same mischaracterization that the media has run with to suggest that President Trump is just sitting on a mountain of documents. It’s not true at all,” Trusty said.

As you’ll see in the clip below, the interview was quite combative with Todd and Trusty repeatedly cutting each other off. Watch the video.
Chuck Todd to Trump lawyer Jim Trusty: “He’s done with classified documents what no former POTUS has ever done… there was actual cooperation by those former presidents to deal w/the dispute. In this case, not only is he not cooperating…how do explain him defying a subpoena?” pic.twitter.com/k12K2P92zh

Todd asked why Trump told Fox News that “they ended up paying Nixon $18 million” for presidential records.
“Does Donald Trump think he should get paid? Is that what’s going on here?”
“That’s a cheap shot,” Trusty snapped. https://t.co/mdMParDuSD
