QAnon Colorado Ex-Clerk Found Guilty Of Obstruction

The Denver Post reports:

A jury made up of four women and two men, found former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters guilty of obstruction of a government operation.

Peters was convicted on a misdemeanor obstruction charge for refusing to turn over an iPad she allegedly used to videotape a court hearing. The charge has a mandatory sentence of up to six months in jail.

Peters has pleaded not guilty to seven felony charges related to her role in allegedly accessing confidential voting machine data in 2021 while she was clerk. That trial is scheduled for August.

Last week Peters boasted “no jury would convict me.”

Peters appeared on JMG last month when she claimed that the deep state had murdered two relatives of her former employees in order to coerce their testimony against her. In fact, both of those people died in car accidents and neither crash was a hit-and-run as Peters claims.

Last August, Peters crowdfunded a failed recount in her bid to become Colorado’s secretary of state. Despite raising $351,000 with the help of Steve Bannon, the recount still showed her losing the GOP primary by 88,000 votes.

Peters is currently running for chairperson of the Colorado Republican Party.
