DeSantis Loses Again: Third “Voter Fraud” Case Tossed

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports:

A criminal case brought against a South Florida resident for allegedly voting illegally in the 2020 election is now the third case to be dismissed in Miami-Dade County, just months after Gov. Ron DeSantis announced a slew of statewide arrests and that prosecutions soon would be coming.

Ronald Lee Miller, 57, of Miami, was one of 20 people arrested in August by state officers of DeSantis’ new Office of Election Crimes and Security. All 20 were formerly convicted of felonies and accused of illegally voting in 2020.

Miller was arrested on one count of false affirmation in connection with election and voting by an unqualified elector, according to court records. Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Laura Anne Stuzin signed an order granting the dismissal of Miller’s charges.
