Orlando’s CBS affiliate reports:
Cory Mills, a defense contractor and Army veteran, has won the Republican nomination for U.S. House in Florida’s 7th Congressional District. District 7 is the seat Stephanie Murphy, a Democrat, is vacating.
The district was redrawn to include more Republican areas of Orange and Volusia counties. It had a slight Democrat lean under Murphy, but now tilts slightly Republican.
Anthony Sabatini was perhaps the most bombastic candidate. He is known for bucking his own party in the legislature because it was not conservative enough for him. He has also called for defunding the FBI after the search of Mar-a-Lago and promoted false claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Sabatini last appeared on JMG when he called for arresting FBI agents. Sabatini also appeared on JMG earlier this month when he headlined a convention of white nationalists.
In July, he floated a bill that would make taking children to drag shows a felony and “terminate the parental rights” of those convicted.
