Florida GOP State Rep Calls For Arresting FBI Agents

A Republican Florida lawmaker has called for his state’s legislature to break away from federal agencies in the wake of an FBI raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. State Rep. Anthony Sabatini, who is running for Congress, made his radical proposal in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Sabatini previously supported Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election result and last year proposed renaming U.S. Highway 27 to the “President Donald J. Trump Highway.”

Sabatini last appeared on JMG earlier this month when he headlined a convention of white nationalists.

As I’ve said here several times, Sabatini is perhaps the most extreme of all state reps this side of Arizona’s Wendy Rogers – and that is saying something.

Sabatini has floated a bill that would make taking children to drag shows a felony and “terminate the parental rights” of those convicted.

He is running in Florida’s 7th Congressional House District. Incumbent Democratic Rep. Stephanie Murphy, who won by 12 points in 2020, is not seeking reelection.

Any FBI agent conducting law enforcement functions outside the purview of our State should be arrested upon sight
