New Ad From QAnon Cultist Lays Out Plan To Move “Overton Window” To Achieve Goals Of The Far-Right

Arizona state Rep. Wendy Rogers released a new campaign ad Tuesday in which she declared that her embrace of right-wing conspiracy theories such as the “Big Lie,” which baselessly claims that rampant voter fraud stole the 2020 presidential election from former President Donald, is part of an ongoing effort to change the narrative and move “the Overton Window.”

The Overton Window is a theoretical framework for conveying which opinions or policy positions on a given subject are politically acceptable at any given time. An effort to move the Overton Window generally involves introducing seemingly radical ideas into the mainstream political or cultural narrative repeatedly in order to desensitize the population, thus making once radical ideas more mainstream.

Her clip below is full of the usual QAnon “stolen election” batshittery as well as her open plan to move the Overton Window closer to the goals of far-right extremists.

Wendy Rogers recently appeared on JMG when she praised Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee. Before that, she appeared here when she spearheaded a letter from over 150 GOP state reps demanding a “complete audit” of the 2020 election in every state. She first appeared on JMG when she threatened to imprison Merrick Garland.

Since then she acted as conductor on QAnon cuckoo train, even claiming that COVID does not exist and that the vaccine has killed over 50,000 people. Rogers is obsessed with Neo-Nazi podcaster Nick Fuentes and tweets his praise regularly. Rogers recently set a fundraising record for an Arizona state rep.

Trump has endorsed her reelection bid.
