Bill Barr, you will recall, publicly stated on December 1st that the Justice Department has seen no evidence of “fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election.” Privately, ABC’s Jonathan Karl reports, after Barr made that December 1st statement, he met with Trump, who was fuming.
Trump brought up Barr’s AP interview. “Did you say that?” “Yes,” Barr responded. “How the fuck could you do this to me? Why did you say it?” “Because it’s true.” The president, livid, responded by referring to himself in the third person: “You must hate Trump. You must hate Trump.”
