Minneapolis’s Fox News affiliate reports:
Prosecutors are expected to call Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo to the stand Monday as the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged in the death of George Floyd, enters its second week. Opening statements in the trial took place on Monday, March 29.
Over the next five days, the state called a number of witnesses to the stand, including the concerned 911 dispatcher who called police on police, the teenager who took the widely shared Facebook video of Floyd’s deadly arrest and George Floyd’s girlfriend, Courteney Ross, who testified about his battle with opioid addiction.
