Les McKeown, the former singer of the Bay City Rollers, has died at age 65. His family made the announcement via a Twitter post on Thursday. McKeown was the frontman of the teen pop sensations during the height of their popularity in the 1970s. The group, which released 13 studio albums, had several that made the Billboard 200; among them was their 1975 self-titled release, which peaked at No. 20, and 1977’s It’s a Game, which peaked at No. 23. The Scottish pop group also landed three songs in the top 10 of the Hot 100.
