Startling photos obtained by the Daily News show the moment a Queens man accused of being a Proud Boy plotting violence surrendered to the feds. An armored FBI vehicle rolled down 76th St. near Eliot Ave. in Middle Village to help take Eduard Florea, 40, into custody Tuesday night, shocking neighbors on the quiet block.
Florea allegedly threatened to journey to Washington, D.C., in the wake of the siege of the U.S. Capitol. Sources said he was arrested on a weapons charge. Federal authorities have been clamping down on alleged extremists in advance of the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20.
