USA Today reports:
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich drew social media backlash Sunday after posting a tweet that criticized Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger for facilitating absentee voting.
Several critics jumped on Gingrich’s tweet as an admission that Republicans rely on voter suppression to win elections, as voting rights advocate Abrams has alleged.
“You’re busted Newt,” said former Attorney General Eric Holder. “Guess you think you have to suppress the vote to win. What a disgrace.”
Gingrich is openly admitting Republicans are an unpopular, minority party whose ONLY chance of winning is to suppress votes. Yes, GOP is a party of diminishing minority that is clinging to power only through voter suppression, gerrymandering,& maybe someday through insurrection. https://t.co/YWAcy2IHcq

ICYMI, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich just admitted that Republicans can only win through voter suppression. https://t.co/XVPq7u67WL

Why is it insisting on honest, accurate, voting by qualified legal voters is called voter suppression by the left? Are they against stopping illegal voting, people voting multiple times, stuffing ballot boxes. Machines love crooked votes (Tammany etc).

But that isn’t what you’re doing Newt. As every court case has found it’s Giuliani et al that are trying to exclude legitimate votes. It hasn’t worked because there’s no truth to your accusations.
