Billboard Magazine reports:
Sparked by a viral TikTok video featuring the song, Fleetwood Mac’s former No. 1 single “Dreams” re-enters the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Oct. 17) at No. 21, landing on the chart for the first time since its original 1977 run.
In the TikTok clip, Idahoan Nathan Apodaca rides his longboard while drinking a large bottle of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice, backed by “Dreams.” The video became so popular that the band’s own Mick Fleetwood recreated the clip.
Ocean Spray even gifted Apodaca a red pickup truck (filled with bottles of Ocean Spray juice). To paraphrase another Fleetwood Mac classic, it doesn’t stop there. The TikTok video has likely brought new fans to the band’s catalog. The group’s Greatest Hits album rises 103-61 on the Billboard 200.
