Fox News reports:
Democrats on Friday reacted furiously to President Trump’s decision to fire the intelligence community inspector general who informed Congress about the Ukraine whistleblower complaint. “Trump’s dead of night decision to fire ICIG Michael Atkinson is another blatant attempt to gut the independence of the Intelligence Community and retaliate against those who dare to expose presidential wrongdoing,” said Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who chairs the House Intelligence Committee.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., accused Trump of firing people “for telling the truth.” “Michael Atkinson is a man of integrity who has served our nation for almost two decades. Being fired for having the courage to speak truth to power makes him a patriot,” Schumer said in a statement. Atkinson received a complaint from the still unidentified whistleblower about Trump’s July 25 call with the Ukrainian president.
“Inspector General Atkinson served the Intelligence Community and the American people well, and his removal was not warranted”

I am so tired of her passive voice statements and vague expressions of mild angst. She fully owns this corruption.
