What happens when you take a Broadway and B-movie classic, restage it for a modern audience and get Pose star Mj Rodriguez and Be More Chill‘s George Salazar to star? According to their latest performance, you get gold.

On Tuesday (Oct. 1), Rodriguez and Salazar appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden to perform “Suddenly Seymour,” the beautiful love ballad at the center of the revival of the 1982 horror musical, Little Shop of Horrors.

With Salazar starring as the eponymous Seymour, and Rodriguez as his star-crossed love interest Audrey, the two took the television audience by storm with a understated, gorgeous performance of the now-classic song.
