Last night Fox News host Tucker Carlson went on a bizarre attack on MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, who had the temerity to interview right wing obsession Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Mediaite reports:
Carlson said, “Chris Hayes is what every man would be if feminists ever achieved absolute power in this country––apologetic, bespectacled, and deeply, deeply concerned about global warming and the patriarchal systems that cause it.”
Other than the schoolyard taunt, it’s not exactly clear what Carlson means here. Feminists are traditionally defined as simply believing that men and women should be treated equally under the rule of law. At press time, Mediaite’s crack research team could find no evidence of any form of feminism that focuses on bespectacled men.
After running a short clip of Hayes introducing the Town Hall in front of a large studio audience, Carlson further mocked “That looks like Ellen, sort of a fusion show.”
Last week Carlson attacked “fat” CNN host Brian Stelter by sending him boxes of donuts.
