CHATTER AWAY: Overnight Open Thread

Playbill reports:

Disney has released the full version of two numbers from the movie musical Mary Poppins Returns. “Trip a Little Light Fantastic” – composed by Hairspray and Smash collaborators Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman – is reminiscent of the original film’s show-stopping “Step in Time,” but swap chimney sweeps for lamplighters and Dick Van Dyke’s cockney accent for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s. Emily Blunt channels the title nanny to perform the second, more introspective song, “The Place Where Lost Things Go.”
