Just this morning KKK-affiliated hate group leader Tony Perkins told us that the New York Daily News is preventing God from ending terrorism. This afternoon the American Family Association takes the opposite position in their petition against the “despicable” tabloid. They write:
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS MOCKS GOD
Did you see this? After the vicious murder of 14 people and the wounding of 21 more, leading politicians were offering condolences and prayers for the victims and their families. Rather than taking a compassionate viewpoint like the rest of America, the New York Daily News decided to blast an insulting headline mocking God and showing contempt for Christianity.
In huge letters, the NY Daily News splashed “GOD ISN’T FIXING THIS” across their front page yesterday (Thursday, Dec. 3), in response to prayers offered by Ted Cruz, Dr. Rand Paul, Lindsey Graham and Paul Ryan. Sign the petition to the New York Daily News, letting them know that their mockery of faith is wrong. Let them know they are wrong and that, “Yes, God CAN fix this!”
The petition says in full:
YES, NY Daily News, God CAN fix this! If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14
And of course, signing the petition puts you on the AFA’s money beg list.
