Bryan Fischer Has The Obamacare Sadz

  • Mister Don

Won’t it pay for fissure treatment?

    • David Walker

I’m sure he would stick to his “principles” and opt out.

      • Steverino

Corticosteroid suppositories courtesy of Obamacare would cure Fissure, but he prefers both having, and being, a pain in the ass. Plus, he’d have to change his name.

      • Chucktech

Ha! Yeah, like Marco Rubio! (I think it was him, right?)

    • ScottJL

      Here’s $5 for a can of spackle.

      • Soren456

I’ll toss in $2.50 for the putty knife.

  • hdtex

Luckily Obamacare will cover the cost of his WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHMBULANCE!

  • Gustav2

    I am giggling.

    • LonelyLiberal

I’d ask what Wesley is doing, but I’m not sure I want to know.

      • Larry Ft Pierce

        he sure got creepy, alas.

        • LonelyLiberal

Yeah, when I saw him on the Will Wheaton Project, I thought he was heading for the skeevy side.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

          • KnownDonorDad

Have you seen him in “The Guild”?

          • LonelyLiberal

I have not…how bad is he?

          • KnownDonorDad

It’s a departure from Wesley Crusher – smart and charismatic leader of the mean gamers. It doesn’t take long to watch the web series; if you like nerdy humor it’s quite good.

        • lymis

He does a great job as the narrator for audiobooks, though.

  • Ireyon

Things don’t become uncostitutional just because the state is doing them Bri-Bri.

    • Gustav2

Anything Bri-Bri doesn’t like is “unconstitutional!”

      • Todd20036

It’s getting to that point, and not just him. Lots of haters feel that way. It’s why any pro-gay law is seen by them as anti Christian. Heck, even the gay pride flag is considered anti Christian by them

        • GC

Yeah, they claim we “stole the rainbow”!

          • Todd20036

LOL. They tried to “reclaim” the rainbow, but all they did was cause a lot of people to think that churches flying the rainbow flag were more inclusive.

In other words, that attempt went over like a lead zeppelin.

          • Ireyon

Indeed! Who knew you could steal weather phenomena! That’s how we control storms too. We stole them and now we unleash them when we have sex!

(See The Gay Guide, Chapter 4, Page 76: World Domination and You)

    • HadenoughBS

You know what? People like this right wing asshole are some of the meanest, foulest, most hateful people in our country. To think they’d withhold life-saving medical care from their fellow citizens all in the name of their throwback political position is appalling and evil. To Hell with Fischer and all who think like him – on Obamacare and all other issues important to people’s well-being (like marriage equality).

      • RoFaWh

The root cause: the social contract has failed in the USA. People don’t see each other as fellow citizens. They don’t understand “we’re all in the same boat.” Whites hate blacks and blacks fear and abhor whites. Xtianists fear — well, everybody not just like them.

A country without the fundamental binding-together implied by a social contract is a failed country.

  • He has sadz now? Just wait…

    • Gustav2

      LOLing in anticipation.

      • StSean

i’m anticipating those preachers setting themselves on fire. then again, i’m still waiting for limbaugh to move to guam or wherever.

        • David Walker

Yeah, there does seem to be a pattern of lack of following through on their threats. Wonder why that is?

        • Jeffrey

Im sure there must have been a hold up with his visa.

          • StSean

no doubt by a black man with a gun.

        • LovesIrony

          he can’t fit on Guam

          • AtticusP

            Luckily for Guam…

          • bambinoitaliano

I’m sure the sharks deserve some treats.

        • olandp

Guam is actually an American territory. Rush said he would move to Costa Rica, where they already have socialized medicine,

          • bambinoitaliano

Too bad Jurassic World is not real. Would love to see him tie to that platform await for the T Rex to emerge. That would at least preserve a pig or a goat’s life for one more feeding.

        • Nelson Kerr

Guam, would be funny the federal government is the largest employer, gay marriage is legal and the majority of people are Brown.

    • Larry Ft Pierce

      they ARE mentally ill.

  • Sam_Handwich
  • Elliott

I always feel better after clicking on the HA HA Ha tag. Suck it, haters!

  • Chucktech

Hey, putz, Obamacare sadz? You ain’t seen nothing yet. (fingers crossed…)

    • Steverino

Those little teabagger pinheads will be a-poppin’ like zits.

      • Rocketeer500

Those little teabaggers are the boils on the buttocks of this country.

  • Go on, Bryan. I encourage you. Continue your reasoning. “Established by the state” is evil, right? You still want your religious opinions to be established over the rest of us by the state, right? Go on, think, I’m waiting.

  • oikos
    • Rocketeer500

      Tastes like vodka.

      • oikos

        Cheers!

      • jmax

Indeed. Cheap, bottom-shelf, bitter vodka that leaves a bad aftertaste. But I quibble.

        • Rocketeer500

Add a twist of lime, or a double-olive.

          • jmax

It’s the middle of the day and I’m at work. Get thee behind me, Satan 🙂

          • David Walker

That’s what they all say…and usually he knows just what to do.

  • Rocketeer500

Oh, lookie there, bry-bry just blew a gasket. I’m all giddy inside.

    • David Walker

Thanks. You put my feeling into the exact words.

  • Sam_Handwich

Roberts: “In this instance, the context and structure of the Act compel us to depart from what would otherwise be the most natural reading of the pertinent statutory phrase.”

    Fuck you, Bryan!

  • delk

So, how long before the wing nuts revert to calling it ACA to keep Obama’s name off of something great for the country?

    • Chucktech

Yeah. Teabaggers thought they were sooo clever inventing what they thought was yet another sign of disrespect for the president. Ain’t so funny now, is it?

      • David Walker

To be honest, I rather like it. “Obamacare” gives credit to an incredibly humane policy. Imperfect? Of course. But I wouldn’t mind if the name stayed.

    • LonelyLiberal

It’s already started. Way back when, I insisted on calling it the ACA, the bagger contingent I have to deal with called it Obamacare.

Now that’s reversed, with me rubbing in the Obamacare at every possible moment. Is it perfect? Of course not, it’s not even that great. But it’s far, far better than nothing.

      • Chucktech

What really knocked them was Obama himself saying “Sure! Call it Obamacare! It’s mine, I’ll own it!”

They didn’t know whether to shit or wind their watch.

        • Good Shot Green

          “I do care!”

      • olandp

They insisted on calling themselves Teabaggers. It took months to get the name to sink in for them, now they get upset. Typical.

    • Todd20036

They’ll try, but it’s been ingrained too much. Plus, there will always be a few haters who like calling it Obamacare.

It may have been a republican idea, but the GOTP distanced themselves so much from it, and tried to kill it so many times, that is now, and will forever be one of Obama’s greatest legacies.

      Suck on that, Perdue.

      • olandp

        NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        That makes him appear!

  • jmax

Millions of Americans get to keep their health insurance. A catastrophe, indeed. Asshole.

    • Todd20036

Yes, but they are poorer, so they aren’t really Americans.

      • GC

But the neocon .1% need their votes and their labor.

        • Jeffrey

Fortunately a lot of the poor are happy to vote republican while getting absolutely nothing in return.

          • Bj Lincoln

2 of my brothers make enough to support themselves and habits with not much left over but they will never apply for Obamacare. They will never ask for any assistance ever, because that is not the GOP way. “If you are broke and can’t pay your bills, or feed yourself, it’s your own fault and should die of some treatable disease.” They are both falling apart, as we tend to do in our 50’s, after abusing ourselves for most of adult life.

          • Jeffrey

That is unfortunate, but not an uncommon story in the south where I am originally from.

          • bambinoitaliano

It’s like those religious nuts that refuse medical care even though their children are dying. It’s like those parents who allow their own children to be molested rather than making an effort to correct the situation, their priority is to protect their religious image, even if their behaviour contradict with the moral teaching of their religion.

          • Queequeg

Sad, but there are many others like them.

          • Todd20036

I abuse myself sometimes, usually with the help of porn. I’m none the worse for wear.

          • Ginger Snap

Sometimes I abuse myself a few times a day.

          • I respect that more than I do the ones (like my own relatives) who are against these programs but then use things like medicare, medicaid and disability thinking they deserve them unlike the “freeloaders” who do not. If you think they are wrong, don’t use them. That’s on you. But if you are using government assistance but then being against it for other people (especially the ones who aren’t “white”) then that’s fucked up.

          • Bj Lincoln

When my mom went off about the ‘freeloaders’ and socialized medicine, I just asked how much her medicare and medicaid covers and she shut right up.

          • JustSayin’

Maybe you could Introduce them to some of the millions of poor rebuplicans on Medicare and food stamps…maybe a few who had their mortgages modified or have a hearing aid or knee brace from Medicare.

Oh and if they have ever used the emergency room because they couldn’t get their kid into a primary care doctor (because they did not have insurance or the cash) you might remind them of who paid for those services.

Just fun talk ideads for thanksgiving dinner

          • GC

The Republicon Party has been good at selling stories. A lot of people genuinely see themselves not as poor, but as frustrated almost-millionaires (if it weren’t for the damn libruls taxing and regulating everything).

          • Jeffrey

Absolutely, they are great at that. They are dealing with people who have no concept of what a billion dollars is, so one person having 40 billion, like my husbands boss, has no meaning to it. They just want some ’50’s America fantasy back. 1850’s or 1950’s, whichever.

          • Queequeg

Yes. Because they are ignorant and watch Fox News so that they can be told how to vote. Actually it is much more complicated than that, but it comes down to resentment, racism and paranoia.

      • jmax

Yeah, there’s that bible thing about “the least of these”, but xtians like Brain Fissure don’t like to think about that.

        • RaygunsGoZap

That’s no longer applicable. Sometime last century an American Christianity was unintelligently designed. Poverty is a sign of Jesus’ disfavor. Wealth means Jesus has chosen you. Forcing Jesus’ chosen to contribute to the well-being of the non-wealthy is anti-Christian.

        • Lawerence Collins

This is their vision of Christ. One where Jesus is in their image

        • Prion

“Back in the 1930s, business leaders found themselves on the defensive. Their public prestige had plummeted with the Great Crash; their private businesses were under attack by Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal from above and labor from below. To regain the upper hand, corporate leaders fought back on all fronts. They waged a figurative war in statehouses and, occasionally, a literal one in the streets; their campaigns extended from courts of law to the court of public opinion. But nothing worked particularly well until they began an inspired public relations offensive that cast capitalism as the handmaiden of Christianity.

          http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/15/opinion/sunday/a-christian-nation-since-when.html

          • jmax

Thanks for the link to a great article.

          • DesertSun59

Yes. This. We have what I call Corporate Christianity in the US. And tens of millions of easily duped Americans have been infected with it.

      • RoFaWh

There it is again, proof that the fundamental social contract has failed.

    • Corey

I feel so happy today that I think I will take a stroll over to DrudgeReport and Breitbart for a brief moment to laugh before I return to sanity.

    • John30013

Especially for all the “families” BriBri claims to represent.

    • Sashineb

Yeah, isn’t it amazing how idiots will conveniently ignore what their LARD Jeebiz said about clothing the poor and feeding the hungry? Healthcare? Maybe Bryan F. can conduct healing $ervice$.

  • David Walker

Can you imagine that? The nerve of Roberts not to do what Bry-Bry said he should do. I’m sorry. I just have to laugh. I so hope SCOTUS rules in our favor. Tomorrow. Please. Tomorrow.

  • JJS_prime

What if the state, overloaded by selfish stupid teabaggers, didn’t establish an exchange? Bri-Bri’s view would amount to the states being able to override federal law.

    • Mark_in_MN

Which would be fine for Bryan, until it isn’t.

  • Gene

ohhh…this is just the KY Bourbon drenched chocolate coated cherry on the cake of my morning… 🙂

    • Todd20036

I like your idea of breakfast

  • Sam_Handwich

Huckabee calls Obamacare ruling an “out-of-control act of judicial tyranny”

    • Steverino

Which means either he will repeat this comment or be at a loss for words when the next big decision is announced…

  • Michael Smith

Oh it’s not just Fischer. The tcot crowd is PISSED at Roberts. They are comparing him to David Souter and screaming about George W. They are even holding it against Jeb!.

  • Gustav2
  • TexasBoy

Judicial Tyrant? Impossible! He was appointed by the anointed one, you know, W.

    • LonelyLiberal

      Anointed, appointed, disjointed…whatever. 🙂

  • dk6

is this the same tyrant that was praised during the Hobby Lobby ruling?

    • David Walker

No. That was some other Chief Justice Roberts. It gets confusing sometimes.

      • Octavio

        🙂

  • JJS_prime

STFU, Brian. All selfish teabaggers belong in hell.

  • BaddogLtd

    Knock knock..

    • Gene

      Thank you
thats my new motherfucking screen saver
      🙂

      • BaddogLtd

Glad to be of service. I actually found a different version online and changed the text a little so whoever created the original deserves two big thumbs up.

        • oikos

I have the one that includes weed as well. One of the best graphics to use with teabillies.

          • BaddogLtd

Yup the one with the weed is the one I saw first. They did an amazing job with it.

          • Belthazar

            Post big O 😉

        • Giant Monster Gamera

I’m saving that one for tomorrow. Nice work!

          • bambinoitaliano

Me too. I will be tweeting this image to all those wing nuts as soon as SCOTUS bring on the SSM.

    • Sk3ptic

      Absolutely LOVE this.

    • bambinoitaliano

      Stealing it!!

  • MDB

It’s okay Bry-Bry, Mrs. Ambiguous Wiggles will hold you tight
and make it all better (sniffle) ;-(

  • StSean

shorter bryan: “HOW DARE PEOPLE BE TAKEN CARE OF LIKE JESUS WOULD HAVE WANTED!!”

    • Todd20036

No, no, no. Jesus said: you couldn’t afford medicine, so I let you die. You were born gay, so I turned you out. You were born wealthy so withhold what is Caesar’s so you can create more jobs.

      • GC

That’s according to Conservapedia’s bible translation project, intended to remove the “distortions” of “liberal bias”.

  • oikos

Here Bryan. This should help with your fissure problem.

  • vorpal

The comments over at FreeRepublic have been epically hilarious. For example:
    1. TREASON! (in a huge 24+ point font)
    2. How many of the black robed tyrants are homosexuals???
It gets better from there. LOL.

    • HoneyBoySmith

      I visited the Freepers, too.

Boy, are they pissed that more people won’t unnecessarily die.

      • GC

Even when many of those people who’ll live and keep voting are conservatives!

        • bill

Hopefully as these Freepers and all complain the more people will vote Democrat. So one MAJOR PHEW for the People……..next………….OYE the wait.

        • Craig Howell

Every silver lining has a cloud.

    • Steverino

As the jerk who founded that website spins frustrated cookies in his Medicare-provided hoveround.

    • Gene

you are ENJOYING this too much!
its Evil of you to enjoy this DEEP conservative pain as they world they knew is being dismantled!

Come sit next to me 😉

    • Todd20036

Um, none, I hope. Sorry, Thomas, you really are not my type.

    • oikos

It’s all part of the New World order and also the fault of Kissinger, Brzezinski and Bush. Hilarious!

    • Giant Monster Gamera

Over at Breitbart, they’re convinced that Obama has something on Roberts.

      • vorpal

They’re so incredibly loony that it isn’t even funny. They have no comprehension of the fact that someone might disagree with them so instead of accepting that, they construct absurd stories to explain it.

    • LovesIrony

I thought you weren’t going to stress yourself over there anymore.

      • vorpal

Depends on my mood, really, and the topic:

Attempting to engage conservatives in logical discussion = ever-increasing stress and irritation

Quick peek at butt-hurt far-righters freaking out = COMIC RELIEF!

        • Giant Monster Gamera

I find it’s best not to engage them. Drop a few choice kibbles and then sit back and watch the frenzy.

          • Octavio

I suspect Vorpal also likes to chew aluminum foil.

        • Bob Conti

I’ve given up engaging over there. It’s, like you said, increasingly stressful and irritating. I go, read a handful or two, and then I’m good.

    • Michael Rush

it’s so strange living in two united states of america’s .

  • HoneyBoySmith

Yes, Bryan. Nothing says “family” and “Christian” more than killing people by taking away their healthcare.

    • David Walker

I’m sure there is a verse or two in the ol’ bible that absolutely, positively, inerrantly suggests that this is undeniably what Jeebus wants. “It’s in the bible. I believe it. End of discussion.”

      • GC

There is a verse or two in the bible that absolutely, positively, inerrantly suggests whatever you damn well please! Susan Blackmore suggested that maybe that’s why the Bible has retained its social relevance for two millennia!

  • geoffalnutt

Here, let me help you pack, Bryan. It’s a long flight. Would you care for something to read? Oh, that’s right. You have a Bible!

  • Sam_Handwich

GOP congressional leadership is breathing a huge sigh of relief …. in private, anyway

    • Michael Smith

Publicly “This ridiculous decision undermines the rule of law”

Privately: “Oh thank god. Now we don’t have to do anything, and we can still scream about Obamacare in 2016.”

      • Chucktech

They don’t seem to scream about Obamacare the way they used to, now that people actually, you know, seem to LIKE it, and it actually seems to, you know, be starting to WORK.

        • Todd20036

And that it his actually been ruled constitutional by SCOTUS… TWICE.

Frankly, I think they are starting to regret calling it Obamacare. But fuck it. It’s Obama’s legacy

          • Ed Burrow

Well, in his dissent, Scalia called it ScotusCare.

          • Todd20036

Must irk him that “ScotusCare” will go nowhere outside of that dissent, but “Obamacare” is one for the books.

          • Octavio

I like the fact Obama, himself, has embraced the name.

          • sw42

Yep, that was my first thought after reading about the decision this morning. I bet the Republicans start distancing themselves from that name. FUCKING OBAMACARE! they screamed for years. Now it will be YOU KNOW I WAS PART OF THE MOVEMENT TO PASS HCA, RIGHT?

    • Sk3ptic

Yep. Many already benefit from it.

  • bkmn

That’s right Bryan show us that legendary Christian compassion.

  • WiscoJoe

What is remotely ambiguous about “established by the State”?

    state stāt/ noun

    1. the particular condition that someone or something is in at a specific time.

“the state of the company’s finances”

synonyms:condition, shape, situation, circumstances, position; More

    2. a nation or territory considered as an organized political community under one government.

“Germany, Italy, and other European states”

synonyms: country, nation, land, sovereign state, nation
state, kingdom, realm, power, republic, confederation, federation

    “an autonomous state”

I swear these idiots probably struggle to understand why the Secretary of State goes overseas so much, when they are constitutionally required to just watch over Idaho.

    • RoFaWh

      WRT your last paragraph:

Many of the goobers are only dimly aware that other nations even exist, and they’re totally ignorant of the various ways in which nations organize their affairs.

They’d probably be surprised to discover that the national flag of other countries is not the Stars and Stripes, also that the national bird is not the bald eagle. Also that other countries don’t speak English. At this point, we segue into contemplation of fat, ill-mannered American tourists who thing yelling in English at a monoglot waiter in Italy somehow makes the guy understand what you are saying.

Many countries use English in public signage for the benefit of tourists, but as one learn-Japanese website puts it, if you only know the kana, when you step off the plane in Tokyo you won’t be able to read anything except some highway signage.

  • Lakeview Bob

Personally, this is very good for me. Big relief.

    • Ray Taylor

Same here, My Henry stood to lose his ACA after recently having heart problems, yes, a BIG RELIEF.

      • Todd20036

Grateful for Henry, but sorry he has to deal with such shit at all.

      • jmax

        Congrats to both of you.

  • olandp

Poor Bryan, things just aren’t going his way. Has he ever considered that this is actually God’s will? If Obergefell goes our way his head will explode. I hope he has some hollow point bullets in his Nazi luger.

    • Jeffrey

I would happily hose whatever he has for brains off the walls if that happens.

      • jmax

An 8 ounce glass of water with a little Dawn in it should be sufficient.

    • Chucktech

The LAST thing on EARTH he’d consider is that this is somehow gawd’s will. Satan’s will, however, is definitely a contender.

      • GC

How can we tell the difference? Satan is purported to be extremely powerful, able to work “miracles”, and eager for people’s allegiance and souls… a lot like the other guy!

Maybe, just maybe, all bibles and religious teachings were planted by Satan to lead people astray, to cause false hopes and wasted lives and wars and bloodshed and enmity and suffering.

Then again, we humans are quite capable of lousing things up on our own.

And, hopefully, of fixing things. http://www.whywontgodhealamputees.com/god32.htm

  • Michael Rush

can anyone keep track of how many angioplasties are performed this week ?

    • WiscoJoe

Good thing Obamacare covers preexisting conditions and mental illnesses.

    • LonelyLiberal

Is there a code for “angioplasty aggravated by psychotic break”?

  • Bj Lincoln

I am so glad I get to keep my healthcare!
    Fuck you Bryan Fissure!

  • Sam_Handwich

    Nino is ever so pissed

“the Supreme Court of the United States favors some laws over others, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to uphold and assist its favorites.”

    more quotes here:

    http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2015/06/obamacare-king-burwell-scalia-dissent

    • LonelyLiberal

Nino has been pissed a lot this session.

      Good. Good.

maybe he’ll just fuckin quit on monday!

        fat chance

    • danolgb

Hey Scalia, the court let you have your stupid say when it came to the comma in Heller, but if you bothered to read the second definition of the word, you’d see that “the state” can mean a nation.
“a nation or territory considered as an organized political community under one government.”

  • Patrick

Bryan no worries there are plenty more things out there for you to hate.

  • I’m going to savor each and every moment. It’s delicious. And I hope it continues tomorrow (or Monday)!

  • ChitownKev

    What a catastrophe.

    What a drama queen

    • Good Shot Green

It’s like the dark day in Ireland with sunshine and rainbows.

  • sherman

    @benshapiro
This is the greatest destruction of individual liberty since Dred Scott. This is the end of America as we know it. No exaggeration.

    • ChitownKev

      oh, my.

    • olandp

      Little Benny Shapiro never exaggerates.

    • David Walker

So I’m supposed to assume the fetal position and suck my thumb? I think not.

      • sherman

        If you’re a Republicon, so I think you’re safe.

  • lymis

Christians should NOT stand for this!

Nobody should make them feed the hungry, care for the sick, treat people equally, or stop judging their neighbors. That would be UnChristian!
What’s next? Loving your neighbor? The HORROR!

Bryan’s hemorrhoids are bothering him, yet again. He really needs to get those purple strangulated veins lanced.

For those of you who are unaware, I would remind you Jesus said:

-Blessed be the gun makers; they shall surely see heaven

    And

-Blessed be those who deprive the poor of healthcare; they shall be seated at my right hand in my Kingdom.

Read you bible dummies. It’s all right there.

  • ChitownKev

Considering Scalia’s and fissure’s temper tantrums over Obamacare, I’ll tune in next week for the Friday episode of “As The Vitriol Turns and the Fundie Heads Explode” complete with a Friday ending.

(Tomorrow, we get PBO’s eulogy in Charleston so that should keep the pearl clutching all through the weekend)

Hate group leader and Duggar lover, Bryan Fischer, decries healthcare for millions, removal of traitor flag and marriage equality.

    • David Walker

      It’s the Bry-Bry trifecta.

  • Kissmagrits

Look on the bright side, Bryan –
“Obamacare” will also provide partial coverage for your emergency counseling and prescribed psychotropic meds.

    • Hue-Man

He only has to wait less than a year for him to live it up on Medicare (read socialized medicine)!

  • Giant Monster Gamera

Heh, Obama’s calling it “Obamacare” in his news conference. Talk about twisting the knife.

    • billbear1961

      Twist it, Mr. President!

  • Randolph Finder

I think the question marks in the second one go *outside* the right quote unless the ???? is in the law….

Is that the falls at the end of the Crimea River?

  • Mark_in_MN

This goes to illustrate how easily Bryan Fischer’s circuits get blown. Such a dim bulb.

  • bambinoitaliano

Of course he does not mention his crackpot followers that also rely on Obama Care. They will hate use Obama Care, just as they will hate consuming products that are pro LBGTQ community. The only thing they wont do is acting honestly for once in their life time.

  • Mark_in_MN

Fischer has never been all that interested in reading any text as a whole or in context, least of all his Bible, so maybe it’s of no surprise he thinks that phrase should be read in isolation and according to his own whims and purposes, just like most of his Bible proof texting.

    • billbear1961

      Bull’s-eye!!

  • Queequeg

Right wingers hate anything that actually helps people. This decision, good in its own right will also ensure that Obama is up there with the Roosevelts as one of our most effective presidents.

  • Taylor

If he has the sadz over the Supreme Court’s Obamacare decision, he’s going to be absolutely inconsolable and bereft over their decision on SSM.

    I can’t wait!

    • Giant Monster Gamera

I hope the men with the straightjacket are standing by,

I feel so happy today that I think i will take a stroll over to DrudgeReport for a brief moment…

You lose, Mr. Fischer. The good guys won, Mr. Fischer. Good day, Mr. Fischer.

  • RoFaWh

You can tell that Fischer is losing. His pronouncements are more and more simple word salad.

  • Mike Rasor

I fully expect Fischer to have a Scanners head explosion if Obergefell goes our way.

  • Sporkfighter

I have always had good medical insurance, however the cost has been rising at 6% to 12% per year. Early retirement was never an option, because the cost of insurance for a 62 year old would be more than my income and cover none of my pre-existing medical needs.

Then Obamacare … price increases slowed, my paychecks stopped shrinking. I can consider retiring at 62. My 20 year-old daughter is covered through college and into her first job, as my 16 year-old daughter will be. All our preventative care and prescriptions are covered. I;ve even gotten a rebate check because my health insurance company didn’t spend enough of its income on medical care!

Obamacare is so much better than what I had before, and I was one of the people who were doing well.

    Bryan “Anal” Fischer

      We’re a nation of immigrants!

  • Lindoro Almaviva

He is not the only one. Mike Pence is wailing on facebook:

    • GOP Weasel word alert!!!
      “personal responsibility”
      “consumer choice”
      “judicial activism”
      “health care reform” ie NONE

    • John Kusters

I’m not following how a ruling in favor of Gov. Pence’s position would have actually provided an opportunity to start over on healthcare. First, there’s absolutely nothing stopping them from putting together a better plan and laying it out in front of the American people. If their new plan is better, I’d support it all the way. Second, if the ruling had gone the other way today, the entirety of the ACA would not have been revoked. Only a small portion of it, a portion that would have had a devastating effect on millions of people. If he really believes today’s ruling would have simply overturned the ACA, he is intellectually unfit to be the governor of a pig pen, much less an entire state. (Somehow I suspect he’s simply lying.)

    United States of America? Catastrophe?

you don’t speak for me douche, I feel quite the opposite.
