Actor Leslie Nielsen of Airplane! and Naked Gun fame died this afternoon in Fort Lauderdale. His death was first reported in unconfirmed messages on Twitter late Sunday that suggested the actor had died in the hospital after suffering from pneumonia. Oscar-nominated actress Jill Clayburgh has died in her Connecticut home after a two-decade battle with leukemia. Clayburgh was 66.
