According to a Gallup poll of more than 350,000 Americans, 65% say religion is an “important part” of their daily lives. 34% say it’s not. The 2008 Values And Beliefs Poll

The 2008 Gallup Values and Beliefs Poll shows the nation evenly split on the moral acceptability of homosexual sex, with 48% finding it acceptable and 48% saying it’s morally wrong.
