I meant to mention Dolly Parton’s 64th birthday on Friday as an excuse to post this, her first appearance on the Porter Wagoner Show in 1967, where she performed her first chart hit, Dumb Blonde. Dolly has scored 59 Top 40 hits on the country chart, including 21 #1’s.
