One month after he was sentenced to more than 1000 years in prison, notorious Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro has hanged himself in his cell. Tragedy At Cleveland Gay Street Party

One man was killed and several others were injured yesterday when a drunk driver plowed into the crowd at a street party hosted by the Greater Cleveland AIDS Task Force. In an announcement just live-streamed from Cologne, Germany, organizers announced that the 2014 Gay Games have been awarded to Cleveland. Washington DC and Boston were the other finalists. Two weeks ago the Cleveland city council pledged $2M in cash and in-kind services to support the games.
