Smack in the middle of their Valentine’s Day candy display, Walgreens is selling Extenze, the hilariously scamtastic cock embiggener currently being pitched by porcine porn star Ron Jeremy. “Happy Valentine’s Day, darling. Here, you should try this.”

This is the Park Avenue side of the building whose Lexington Avenue side I posted last month. I’m kinda digging the new giant scrims depicting what the interior looks like.

Thanks to the economy, New York City has seen a spate of dollar-per-slice pizza joints spring up. This one opened last summer on the Upper East Side. Plain cheese is 99 cents. Anything fancier is two or three bucks. I had one plain, purely for the bloggerly aspect. Not bad at all. Reviews on Yelp are pretty good too.

Colder and gloomy today. Might have seen a random flake, too.

It’s a glorious afternoon and about fifty degrees warmer than it was just a few days ago. The park was quite busy. This photo embiggens nicely.

Over the last eight years I’ve eaten hundreds of times at the half-dozen joints in the lower left of this shot. And I must report with sadness that my beloved Spanish Food closed abruptly last week. Demolition of the interior commenced within 24 hours. Sob.

Embiggen for the sign we spotted while on a house-oogling drive around Orlando’s Lancaster Park. The sign’s subject glared defiantly as we wisely rolled on.

Fort Lauderdale’s airport is mobbed this afternoon and they are holding passengers out in a satellite rope maze before you can enter the regular mobbed rope maze. (Blurry photo from my shitty cell cam.)

If you wander down the back alleys, you’ll find lots of charmingly weather-beaten little cottages in Key West’s classic style. This one I noticed on Elgin Lane is far less ramshackle than most and just sold for $800K.

Mmm, touristy! There’s an all-gay trolley tour too.

All the old ladies were atwitter at my post office over rumors that ours was on the list of those to be closed down. “They can’t expect us to schlepp down to the 22!”
