Manhattan borough president Scott Stringer spoke last night at the NYC LGBT Center, where he declared his shame at New York’s lack of marriage equality. The heterosexual Stringer married in Connecticut last year as a show of LGBT solidarity.

The Senate has reconvened for more late night work, but a marriage bill does not presently appear on the list of active items for tonight. UPDATE: The Senate has adjourned for the night.
