Thousands Of Weekend Flights Canceled Due To Storm

According to FlightAware, 3,049 flights have been cancelled for Saturday with airliners JetBlue, Republic and American Airlines having the largest percentage of cancelled flights.

The cancellations are mostly impacting airports along the East Coast, including New York City’s John F. Kennedy International airport, Boston’s Boston Logan International airport, and Newark Liberty International airport.

JetBlue cancelled 50 percent of its flights scheduled for Saturday, accounting for 418 flights. Republic Airways, a regional airliner for multiple larger airlines, has cancelled 59 percent of its scheduled flights for Saturday.
