Axios reports:
Rep. Matt Gaetz is the latest member of Congress to go into self-quarantine after coming in contact with an individual at CPAC who has since tested positive for the coronavirus.
Gaetz was seen traveling with President Trump on Air Force One about an hour before his office announced that he would go into self-quarantine. Gaetz’s office reports that he is not feeling symptoms, but has received testing and is expecting results soon.
Gaetz received pushback last week for wearing a gas mask on the floor of the House as Congress weighed emergency coronavirus funding. Many viewed the stunt as making light of the situation.
Business Insider reports:
On Monday, Georgia Congressman Doug Collins announced he would self-quarantine “out of an abundance of caution” after CPAC notified him he was at the conference with the patient who tested positive for the coronavirus.
His announcement came after he joined President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence for a tour and coronavirus press conference last week at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia.

This afternoon, I was notified by CPAC that they discovered a photo of myself and the patient who has tested positive for #COVID19.
While I am not experiencing any symptoms, I have decided to self-quarantine out of an abundance of caution.
