Houston’s ABC affiliate reports:
“Hundreds” of images of child pornography were found on a computer that allegedly belonged to a youth church volunteer who has since been arrested, Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office said. Kevin Hartgrove, 45, was taken into custody at his home on Wednesday and charged with two felony counts of possession of child pornography, which carries a penalty of up to 99 years in prison.
Officials said there is no evidence that any children in the images were the ones he worked with at the church, but they are asking for anyone who may have encountered him to come forward. According to Precinct 1, several files were found involving multiple young girls between the ages of 11 and 13. A judge set Hartgrove’s bond at $20,000. His bond conditions include having no access to phones, computers, and no contact with children.
