Missouri Pastor Gets Ten Years On Child Porn Charges

Kansas City’s Fox affiliate reports:

A former staff member at a church in Peculiar, Missouri, has been sentenced after pleading guilty to child pornography. Andrew Lovisone, 30, of Greenwood, was sentenced on Monday morning in Cass County court to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. He pleaded guilty on May 6 to two counts of promoting child pornography.

Videos from July 28, 2024, on the church’s Facebook page and YouTube page are titled: “Pastor ordination service for Andrew Lovisone.”

During an interview with detectives, court documents say Lovisone confessed that he had been using applications to download and share child sexual abuse materials. Lovisone also stated that the downloads and uploads happened at both the church and his residence after hours during the week.
