MAGA Host: Trump Told Me He’ll “Just Jail” Mamdani

CHARLIE KIRK (HOST): And so, Benny, kinda taking a step back here and covering socialism for quite some time, what is the driving force of Mamdani and how do we defeat him?

BENNY JOHNSON (GUEST): Yeah. Well, Trump told me yesterday he’s just gonna put him in jail. So there’s that. But that’s because Mamdani is proposing multiple policies that are patently illegal. Mamdani wants to tax people based on their skin color. He says so, and he doubled down on that, Charlie, in fact, this weekend, saying that white people in New York need to pay more taxes.

That’s something that obviously drew a rebuke from the Trump Justice Department, but President Trump told me yesterday when I asked him about Mamdani that he’s going to be facing serious federal threats for stopping ICE enforcement in the city of New York. This is what he promised to do when he won in his nomination speech last week. So how do you stop him? I’m not sure.

And it begs the question, Charlie, that I don’t know the answer to, which is, do we let our great American cities fail? Do we give them what they want? Democracy, of course, is the people know what they want, and they deserve to get it good and hard. So do we give New Yorkers the communism that they wish to live under? Is that the only way to learn? I don’t know the answer to that question.
