Bondi Refuses To Answer Questions About Epstein Files

Attorney General Pam Bondi dodged questions on the Jeffrey Epstein files or on any clashes with FBI deputy director Dan Bongino during a Tuesday news conference. Trump told reporters Tuesday that Bondi has “done a very good job,” but appeared to agree with his daughter-in-law Lara Trump, who said there needs to be “more transparency” and suggested the president’s administration would release more Epstein files.

“I would like to see that also,” he said. “But I think the attorney general… the credibility is very important, and you want credible evidence for something like that, and I think the attorney general’s handled it very well.” Bondi made clear during a Drug Enforcement Agency briefing that she was there to talk about law enforcement seizures of 64,000 pounds of methamphetamines and not Epstein.
