Scott Brown Launches Another Bid To Return To Senate

Manchester’s ABC affiliate reports:

Scott Brown is launching another campaign to return to the U.S. Senate: “The reason I am running is a kind of fed up with the federal delegation. We’ve been blessed here in New Hampshire. We’ve had Gov. Sununu, Gov. Ayotte, the Legislature, all working very hard for years to protect the New Hampshire advantage — while we see in the federal delegation the over-taxation, overregulations. On the policy stuff, the open borders, the sanctuary cities, zealously fighting to protect the so-called rights of illegals.”

There is a lot of time left on the calendar for primaries to develop, but Brown said he is ready to take on the likely Democratic nominee, Rep. Chris Pappas. Brown represented Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate from 2010 to 2013. He later was the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire in 2014, before losing in the general election to Sen. Shaheen. Brown served as U.S. ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa during Trump’s first term.
