PA Sheriff Posted Gory Meme On Killing Protesters

Penn Live reports:

An image apparently shared on the Facebook page for the Adams County sheriff depicting a blood-covered truck with the words “Protester Edition,” is going viral and prompting outrage.

The meme shows a white Dodge pickup with the front half stained with splotchy red and was posted on the personal page of James Muller over the weekend, according to screenshots.

The post coincides with thousands of protests across the country Saturday against President Donald Trump’s administration and policies.

NBC News reports:

The Adams County commissioners have released a joint statement after the county sheriff reportedly made, then deleted, a Facebook post that appeared to show the front of a white truck covered in red splatters with the caption, “The All New Dodge Ram Protester Edition.”

“The Adams County Board of Commissioners does not support, condone, or agree with any action, innuendo or statement that threatens or appears to support political violence in any form at any time. The elected office of Sheriff is constitutionally and personally mandated to uphold the law. Any statement or action made by the sheriff that does not support that mandate, we regard as unacceptable.”

ABC News reports:

Muller has served in law enforcement for more than 26 years, primarily with the sheriff’s office. He’s served as sheriff for more than 16 years, according to his office biography. Muller did not run for re-election in the May primary and has run unopposed in his most recent elections.

The post comes amid several questionable comments nationwide on how law enforcement should handle protesters.

Ahead of last weekend’s “No Kings” rallies, Brevard County, Florida, Sheriff Wayne Ivey issued a grave warning to protesters. “If you throw a brick, a firebomb, or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your families where to collect your remains at because we will kill you graveyard dead,” Ivey said.

The cult is applauding.
